I realized I have not posted since Thursday, so I thought I would throw something up at least!

Mom was released from the hospital on Friday (yay!) Fingers crossed that things remain good. Lana's fever broke on Friday as well, so that was nice. I have been very busy getting things done around the house in and trying to prepare for my trip, for which I leave THIS SATURDAY (holy crap!).

Skooter has been giving me some AMAZING numbers as of late....of course, which makes me wonder if I should have my DS and DBIL shoot the 0.10, even if they are not testing, or if I should just not have them give any insulin at all. I will be asking the question again on Thursday night......I will be able to give him his shot Friday morning and I think he will go over to their house Friday night, so I would like to have a game plan in place by Thursday night, if possible. He is doing just super over all, at least I think he is :)

I have tons more to do around the house today and then some clothes shopping etc that I need to fit in during the week. I am thinking of taking Friday afternoon off work and getting a mani/pedi as I have a feeling I will be working my butt off this week :)

I hope every one is doing well and hoping to catch up on condos soon!

I'm glad your mom was released. Vines for her continued recovery. Anti-stress vines for you. I'm glad Skooter is doing so well.

Does Skooter get stressed when he's away from home? Is he comfy with your DS and DBIL? Do his numbers go up when he's stressed? Just some random thoughts to consider as you decide about whether to have them shoot or not.

Meanwhile, he's looking GREAT!!!!

I'm glad your DM is home. I'm sure she feels better just being in familiar surroundings. Sending tons of healing vines and prayers for her.

Pre diagnosis, he got really comfortable at DS and DBIL's house. He would come down and roam through the house, the two dogs and him could even be in the same room (and it took a bit of time for that to happen). After dx he regressed quite a bit, hiding under the bed when he was there and not being social at all. He does not enjoy being away from home. But he has not been there since he has become this regulated. He has spent the night here and there, but it has been probably six or seven months. We did go over to my parents house for Christmas and his numbers came up a little while there and came right back down when we got home......

I would feel better about them shooting even the 0.10 if they would even test once per cycle, but it is looking like that is less and less likely.....we shall see....I am still unsure of what to do.....there is a shocker, eh? lol

Why won't they test?
Not doing it right, hurting him.....they have a newborn baby as well as I think it is a bit overwhelming....I am fine with it, I never expected others to learn how to test him and I am not even sure if he would let other people test him to be honest, so lol

Nice work, Skooter. Can you teach Cinco to do that, please?
