So my automatic feeder came in last night. It doesn't make a sound when the doors open. I'm concerned that Simmy will be asleep and could be hypo-ing and miss the food. I may try to do a mod and tape some small bells to it, but the lid opening is pretty soft, so it may not even create enough sound...

Awesome start Simmy!!! I think you would be surprised what cats can "tune" their ears to! but bells aren't a bad idea
