Good Morning Everyone on this First Day of Summer,

It is 46 degrees F. this morning. Rusty is in his little bed after having had a good morning routine. I hope he comes down to his normal numbers today and stays there!

It promises to be a gorgeous day and the beans are about to leave for a canoe outing on Stony Creek and the Racquette River. Rusty will hold the fort. We'll be back for +9, so he'll have lots of outdoor time then to hunt.

Hi again,

Carla, it looks like he surfed for a while and then bounced. He ate all the food left out for him and when we got home he spent an hour outdoors hunting the chipmunks. He's sleeping now, but ate a lot of his dinner already (the rest will be eaten on the couch, in front of the TV, with his beans sitting with him (this is now his "norm").

We had a beautiful day on the water, but it never got warmer than about 65 degrees. The breeze kept the bugs down, but the mosquitoes were awful at times. The blackflies were not a problem on this paddle, thank goodness.

Wishing you all a good evening. In about an hour we are going to chillax in front of the TV with our kitty. We are watching the TV series "War and Remembrance" on Netflix. Haven't seen it since the 1980s. It holds up really well.

Rusty, did you get a burst of adrenalin chasing after the chipmunks?

Your day sounds lovely, but I can do without the bugs. We live next to the woods so mosquitoes are all too common here. :twisted: Enjoy the night chillaxin.

Yikes on that yellow! What are you doing up there, Rusty? Kitties and their beans have such cute routines.

Hi Ella

I so love the nighttime routine there. I can so see all of you on the sofa, watching TV together. Well done Rusty! Bug will do that some too.

Bummer on that PMPS. well, hope he comes gown soon for you.

The paddle sounds very nice, and excellent that the bugs weren't too bad. 65? Doable I hope. It was that here too, under sunny skies.
