Voula, Amy, Elise, Lyresa, Carla, and Tricia - Thanks for stopping in yesterday! Sorry I went MIA, lots of family catching up to do at my cousin's baby shower meant it was a long day. Then, about a half hour after I got home, we had a big storm and lost power for a few hours! Noodle had a decent if not high day, I expected it with the BCS and skip Friday.
Elise and Tricia, thanks for the reminder on smaller meals with the Cypro. I listened yesterday, but was on autopilot this morning and we had a little scarf and barf. It wasn't her whole breffis and she's been fine eating her normal mini meals since. Whew.
Heck of a drop you just threw me Noodle! I was about to head to my parents for Father's Day, but I'll be hanging around here for a bit longer to make sure she's coming up. Gave a little honey to slow the drop. So glad to have learned that trick @Bron and Sheba, I believe you said @Sienne and Gabby told you about it? It's been so useful!
Bloodwork update: Everything looks perfect! Got an email from the vet today -- a Sunday morning & holiday, no less. If anyone needs a vet in tbe DC Metro area, please let me know... I really have a keeper in her! Everything is good and her cardio biomarkers are perfectly normal. We are scheduling a dental for either 7/9 or 7/10. She mentioned a vet at the office who is particularly skilled, so I'd like to get it with her. My doctor doesn't do them herself, but wants to be there when they do it. I also need to ask about the drugs they use and how she'll be monitored during surgery.
Happy Fathers Day, L&LL! Hope everyone has a great day.
