6/21 LOOSE LIPS: a day with the fishies....

Good Morning LL!! (Thank Elsa, it is SO NEEDED this morning! ),and Happy Furday everyone!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! WE ARE SO STOKED!!! THE STRAWBERRY FULL MOON PARTY WILL BE AT THE TREEHOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT!!!! Rusty, our very one LL Head Chef has asked if we can host it. of course we can! Mannie will be so proud and happy that the gang will be coming herE for the Full Moon party. He loved his tree house! We are going to start cleaning right away so everything is spotless. Paw Prints Pizza is working very hard on a strawberry pizza, and I am working really hard on a specialty coffee ice cream thingie too, just for funs. This is so mega Cool, Thank you Rusty! so. well. anyways. onwards! time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and and Triple shot Cappuccinos with extra foam, made from beans from High in the mountains of Jamaica. And for all my fans: a Venti quad dutch apple infused white mocha, with caramel whip, garnished with caramelized apple clusters, white chocolate shavings and a caramel drizzle.. OH! No worries, a dollop of apple and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... good!

Sorry I missed everyone last night. I had intended to spend all this time with you guys and then my son came by for a surprise visit. ;-) So we hung-out for a while, talked, and YAY! It was good to see him.

Yesterday was a fun day. I ended up picking up Nicholas at his mom and dad's house, and managed to spend some time with William too. He is such a good baby - rarely cries, and has such a calm demeanor about him. We all hope we can say that a year from now too. :lol: Nicholas can be so funny, and so cute. He sat there for a few minutes and just watched William. It was cute. I took these photos while there yesterday: William @ two weeks

Nicholas and I had a great time in Seattle yesterday at the Aquarium. It was raining so hard here that heading on out to a river place was well.... a very wet proposition. It was a good choice to do what we did. This is what I wrote in last night's post about our adventure " Hi everyone! Another late post for me... Nicholas and I had a great day at the Aquarium. In the long run I am glad we did not try for an outdoor adventure, a hike, river trip whatever. It was rained non-stop here since noon. Our radar is nothing but a sea of green. :shock: :roll: :roll: I wish I could send all this rain to AZ.... We had a great time looking at all the fish, tide pool creatures, Tropical fish, otters, well everything! I think we made the tour of the place five times. He did remember it from his last visit, and knew exactly what he wanted to see and when. :lol: :lol: And of course everything was on the run, Run to this, run to that. :lol: :lol: We have a nice aquarium, and I really like the hands on stuff that they have. One can touch all the creatures in the tides pool. I lost count of the number of anemones and starfish that he touched. Quite the learning experience for Nicholas. After the aquarium we went and visited a small waterfront park that they have next door. There are areas where one can walk out onto the piers that are over the sea. Have a great day everyone! It is another day with Nicholas for me - a swim day. YaHOO! His dad will be coming today too, which should be fun. Should the weather be decent we all hope to head out for another berry hunt on the trails by the pool. Huckleberries will be ready soon. It's kinda cool that Nicholas knows what bushes produce which berries. I will try and get to condos when I can.

Morning Michelle, what a great idea to have the Full Strawberry Moon party at the Treehouse hosted by Elsa and Bug and lola. Mags can't wait to try some of that strawberry pizza. Thank you Elsa for my coffee and Double Cappucinos.
Really sweet pics of William. He looks like such a good baby. Great pics of Nicholas at the Acquarium. That is such an awesome and learning place to see all the marine life.

Morning Ann Yupp, Elsa and the gang are so excited to have the full moon party at the treehouse. They are so glad that Rusty asked. SWEET! This place will be rockin' this weekend for sure. :lol: :lol: THX on the William photos. He is really such an easy baby to care for, rarely fusses, and only when he needs basics, like food and diapers. other than that - what a sweetie. THX on the aquarium pics and visit - he really had a great time there. Swim will be fun today too, maybe more so since his dad is also coming. Yahoo! and yes on the berries! silly kid loves to pick them. They never make it home though as he eats all he pics. :lol: :lol:

What flavor ice cream are we having with the pizzas? Cimmimum? I mean ciniminam , kinnámōmon, kurundu, kayu manis, I mean that wonderful aromatic curled up inner bark from trees in the genus Cinnamomum. KK yes, spelling genius no.

Hi Everyone! WOO HOO! What a day! Erin and Jason and Nicholas and William came up today. Jason and Nicholas and I went swimming while Erin stayed home with William. We had such a great day in the pool. Nicholas loves it when his dad is there. It was interesting day there. Summer scheduke started today, which means alot isn't open to us, it's reserved for lessons, etc but they had the big pool open too, normal time. so.... not too sure what is up with that. Maybe they changed their minds on that, or maybe it was just a one day thing. dunno. I guess we will see what goes down next week. Nick wanted to show his dad today how he can swim, so he did. wow - kinda impressive. he did maybe 15/20 yards underwater, come up for air in the middle and back under he went until he had done the distance he wanted. back and forth a couple dozen times. what was really cool was that we had side breathing on one of them. looks like I may have to start working on that, when he wants. he has obviously been watching the lap swimmers. anyways - what a fun day. His dad is now more than adamant and on board that all this swim stuff we do continues, more than obvious now to him how much Nicholas likes it. I had to laugh - he kept repeating: he did side breathing. LOL, and yes he did. anyways - we had such a good time. I just love dads that participate. we didn't go for berries afterwards. just too short on time. he and E/J/W needed to be over at my niece's house, who cuts hair, so that the little guy could get his first official haircut. Had to laugh at Erin: "we gotta get that hair out of his eyes when he swims". oh haha. it was nice to hang out with them while Nicholas napped. watched some gawd awful movie on TV that put us all to sleep. :lol: :lol: :lol: : )!!

Hi John - THX on all - it was a great day yesterday. The aquarium is alwyas such a great place to take him - he loves anything associated with water, so a good choice. I agree too on those unexpected visits: the best kind!

Hi Melissa - THX! on the condo and the photos. I so agree - the calm is making this all so easy, stress free! we so hope it stays that way.

Hi Carla - THX on the photos - he really is a cute baby. And an easy one to care for. My DD got lucky! ;-) A big yes on the aquarium - FUN! swim was so cool today - he had even more fun since his dad came too.

Wink - you gots it! We would love to have you help! basil is good on anything. Mannie always said so. He was such a great chef! Lola and Bug say that you can chop ll you wants! They like chopping... and then throwing... and then catching... and then doing it all over again. They is mega fun. uhhhhh.... you wanna bring Delta and Monet? the more the merrier! and you is too funny on the ice cram flavoe.... i dunno! Lola and Bug are real big on cimmamum. It's great that you, Bug, and Lola are going to host the party. The Kitchen Krew has been busy making suggestions for the menu (see Rusty's condo). Everything is going to be delicious.

Loooks like yesterday at the aquarium was great fun. I love Nicholas and the seahorse! We went to the Monterey Aquarium once and were enchanted by the whole thing. It's always cute to see the little Energizer napping on the way home. It's almost like work to have all that fun.
I'm liking the story of everyone napping to the awful movie. At least they serve some purpose. Naps all around!!!

Elsa, GREAT STUFF this morning. I could barely stay awake until you came by, then i was good to go.. and no nap today! YUM YUM YUM, go go go! That caramel drizzle and the apple caramel ice cream makes for one happy bean. Big Hugs to you Lil Barista, Coffee Cat!

HI Mary - Yes, it was a blast at the aquarium, always fun place for Nicholas. I love the seahorses too. He has a story that we read that involves them so he had to go and find them. I so agree on the shots of him sleeping in his seat on the way home. One knows then that he did indeed have a great time. LOL on the movie nap.... so so true!
