Okay so the prime meter is giving as an e3 error.... used the confirm meter but we only have 3 strips for that meter left from way back when we used to use that meter....

I don't have that meter to look it up in the book.... but I'll go try to look it up online...

first thought is check your batteries....
second thought is I get weird error messages if I don't get the strip in just right....

okay dane took out the battery and put it back in and then he tested himself and it seems to be working now... oh my that seriously almost gave me a heart attack!

I think you will know if it keeps doing that. Do you have enough strips that you can test on yourself to make sure it's hitting the range you should be in?
fortunately, the meters are the cheapest part of it all....
the strips are what cost so much....

Good to know about the battery for future! I was thinking of buying a back-up battery and have in my stock-pile....now I know to put on shopping list!

I don't have a control solution for my ReliOn Confirm.....have to call and order one, but haven't yet. do I need to?

Glad you figured it out and have a working meter.......and can hopefully relax

dane tested himself with the prime and it seems to be his normal range

i have 3 of the confirm test strips left and I remembered I have 19 strips for the super nova max meter

can anyone give any suggestions on when to test next I am nervous since he has come down since PMPS

Dane got a +3.... hes at 69.... I got a +1 because he didnt eat very much at shot time, so I was really worried about him dropping more. Sorry I have a really hard time knowing when its best to test

I am mainly worried about him dropping because his appetite... he didnt eat much at shottime so I tested at +1 then encouraged him to eat and he ate some... same thing at +2 he ate....

he always has food to free feed but sometimes he wont get up to eat when hes in lower numbers - i think because sometimes it makes him sleepy...so i try to encourage him to eat a little...

I didnt encourage him to eat after this +3 test though (but like I said there is still LC out) so I am worried about his numbers going down... not sure if the food is the only thing holding his numbers up

It would b u likely for LC to be propping up his numbers early in the cycle.
 
+4.5 was 81 :-D I am going to sleep for a bit... Dane is going to be up for a little while... he said he will test right before he goes to sleep... if jupes numbers are higher - we will probably wait until AMPS to test.... if about the same... we will set an alarm to wake up once in middle of night to test.... and if lower.... we will retest in an hour or two

is this a good plan.... I hope....
