Well after 2 doses of lev we are still in blue I am sure its not going to last but still not bad numbers so far.. all P's in place this morning well darn if my 7 kittens do not all have some kind of diarrhea virus we are thinking they picked it up maybe last week when they were at the vets this has delayed the departure of 3 of them very frustrating since just last week I got a health cert on a boy who is now sick joys of breeding I guess :roll: :roll: anyway DH is off releasing a raccoon we have several to trap and I got lucky last night and caught my first yeah... he takes them to where we hike and lets them go.
DS my oldest left for China today he is gone a month and I house sit his 4 cats starting tonight going to be a long month taking care of them they are really going to miss him.... Guess that updates us for now send some healing vines for my little ones if you can to help them clear the runs ;-)

Sorry to hear the kittens are sick; sending some healing vines for the babies. Nice to hear Do Lou is feeling well with all P's. I wish your DS a good trip to China, and his kitties ill miss him, but they're in good hands with you. It sounds like you'll be very busy. Have a nice day.

Morning guys. What a nice start to the day for Do Lou - perhaps the Lev agrees with him. YAY!

So sorry on the runs with the kittens. I do hope that clears up soon. Good luck with the house-sitting for DS kitties. Wow - you will be busy! Incredibly nice of you to take care of them. I hope your DS enjoys his China trip.

Good luck with the racoons... we used to get alot of them here too. Not so much anymore.... It was also so weird to see them staring in the house throguh the slider glass.

Blues are nice....in fact they are rather lovely! Healing vines for the sick kitties.....hope they feel better, quick! Great catch on the raccoon....nice to hear you release them :mrgreen:

Can I ask....why the switch to Lev? Was Lantus not working? Just curious.....

Fingers and paws crossed the lev continues to work for Do Lou
 
+5.5 258 coon one released off to the forest we used to have a terrible time with raccoons in our barn went almost a year without them and now they are back not sure how many I have to trap hoping its only one more we shall see... they make such a terrible mess I used to like them and now I have to say I do think they are cute but I hate raccoons now to me they are just a pest animal like mice just bigger

Hi Sherry as to why try Lev again well with him being a higher dose cat I tried lev last year for a month and did not see a change this was before I knew he was insulin resistant its just me wanting to see what Lev might do for him again ......I have other reasons too, but prefer to not state them in the condo hope you understand
 
Hi Lisa, Do Lou is looking good on his first 2 days of Lev.
Thanks so much for your thoughts about anesthesia. I was going to PM you, but now I don't have to! I will talk about it with the vet tomorrow, but we have postponed the bloodwork until the fall (it was only because I wanted a baseline wellness profile, not for any problems).
Healing vines to the kittens! They'll be fine soon, I'm sure. You sound really busy and now will be even busier with your DS's kitties. But you are such a good mom to do that.
Hope the racoons like their move to a new habitat!!
