I am strongly suspecting that someone snuck down to the lagoon last night while we were gone and did a little splashing around. His paws were damp, and it wasn't from pee.
Speaking of pee, he went on the pee pads again early this morning.
I may be to blame. I tried to make it easier for him to get into the big lb by putting a low box under the pee pad so he could use it as a step. I think it just confused him. I took it away, and so far today (anti-jinx) he's used the big box twice. I pulled it out a little more so that when he walks into the bar area, he walks straight into it. Before he had to turn left. We'll see if this lasts. If he continues to use it, I'll remove the smaller one tomorrow. I pushed that back a little to make it less convenient. Paws crossed!
I had an epiphany this morning while looking at Cinco's spreadsheet. Don't know why this didn't dawn on my before. The AB is coated, which usually mean sugar, right? Ergo, higher numbers since starting it.

At least, that's the theory I'm gonna go with for now. He only has nine more days on it, so we'll see what happens when it's gone. Meanwhile, if we have to go up a little in dose to compensate, we will, in the hope we'll be coming back down soon. Hopefully I'm not just grasping at straws here.
Minka didn't eat much yesterday, and when we got home from dinner and cards (at 1:30 am), she hadn't eaten any of the food we'd left her. She looked uncomfortable, but not in pain. I gave her 100mls of fluids instead of the usual 50, as the oncologist suggested, and gave her some Ondansetron. A little while later she ate almost a tablespoon of baby food. I hung with her until 5 am, feeding her a teaspoon of baby food about every 15 minutes and dozing in between. In the end, I got almost a jar and a half into her.
This morning, when I finally dragged my tired butt out of bed, she ate almost all of her breakfast before her tummy meds had time to kick in, and looked much better. She's been eating small snacks all day and just ate about half of her dinner. I think (HUGE anti-jinx), the flare is passing.
Just had to step away to do a little butt washing - Cinco's. He went poo (in the smaller box - yes, I was stalking him), then lost his balance and got it on his tail.
I ran for cleaning supplies and headed him off before he could get to the couch. He was NOT happy with me, but my furniture appreciates it, I'm sure.
Sasha is still starting slow with her appy in the morning and progressing to ravenous by evening. Even on non-Pred days. Interesting. I've decided to go ahead and try every third day, since I haven't heard any sniffs, etc., in several days. Paws crossed.
Harvey continues to be Harvey...
