Bounce-breaking Yesterday

Well, Zener, look at you! He had a bit of an over-night slide. Appy was a little iffy this morning so he got some cypro. He finished with breffis in bed with sleeping Anne, who awoke briefly and has gone back to sleep.

I'm sitting at the table reading about all of the fires in AZ and the West.   None of them threaten us but we did put together a few things in case one should pop up and we have to evacuate. We live on the southwest side of town but it's fairly flat which is better for firefighting. The winds are from the SW this time of year so that's where the fires generally come from.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans, Nancy's Pepper (last day of SRT), Jan's Topper, Pat's Shadow, Jamie. Happy Fursday, LL!

Nice green start Zener! now eat your fuds. The fires sound very scary. Amazing how quick they can come up and go crazy. Have a wonderful day!

Re: 6/20 Zener AMPS 86

Liz/Anne - glad you have things ready just in case...that's always a relief when you know it's done.

Re: 6/20 Zener AMPS 86

Hi Liz. Nice AMPS for Zener this morning. Hope his apply improves and that he surfs the Lagoon today.

Sure hope the fires steer clear of your area. Have a great day Liz.

Re: 6/20 Zener AMPS 86;+1.5 91

Morning Liz, very nice today for Zener  and hope he keeps surfing. I hope his appy improves and sending along some appy vines. It's a good idea to be prepared for the fires. I hope, too, they clear from close to your area. Have a nice day.

Beautiful slide there Z-man!   Good thing to be prepared, We've got the mowing done in our field, but still a lot of hand weeding to do. For a low rain year there was a ton of growth!

Re: 6/20 Zener AMPS 86;+1.5 91

Very nice numbers for Mr Z!!!

Glad you are prepared for a quick getaway, but hope you never need to go! Interesting how each part of the country has different weather related problems to deal with.

Enjoy your day Liz :-D :-D

Re: 6/20 Zener AMPS 86;+1.5 91;+3 90

Zener's looking fancy in his green swim trunks!!! You and Shasta both need to get your appies up and moving! Hoping and praying you guys don't have to deal with any fires, but good to know you've got "to go" bags ready. Hope you all have a great day!

Re: 6/20 Zener AMPS 86;+1.5 91;+3 90;+4 105

What nice numbers for Zener today. Sending appy vines your way. I hope you never have to deal with fires. So scary.

Have a great day you two!

Zener you're going the wrong way. I hope he turns things around and slides back down to green. That's so scary about the fires. I hope you stay safe and don't get any near you.

Re: 6/20 Zener AMPS 86;+1.5 91;+3 90;+4 105;+7.5 196

Z-man, you're sliding the wrong way today. Let's keep it to the blue floor shall we?

Yikes on the fires. I'd gladly trade you some of our rain for the dryness. Especially for next week. ;-) There's floods in Calgary (Timber's town) today. Just wish the weather would even out at bit.

Hi guys,
Beautiful cycle today, Z Man. Looks like you're going to break the spell, however!

It's always good to have an escape plan and know exactly what you have to do in case of fire or other disasters. I hope those fires stay away from your area. We have had so much rain this month, but the soil is sandy and thin here (mountain terrain), so everything looks dry even after only a couple of days.

Have a fine evening,

Ella & Rusty

Re: 6/20 Zener PMPS 271

I hadn't heard of any fires in AZ in the last few days.. too many on the news for NM , I guess. I had to go look.
my favorite website is http://inciweb.nwcg.gov/ to view the maps of the fires. You can really know the direction things are traveling that way.
We've evacuated twice from our fires so it's become less shock and more routine.
I think AZ had enough burn up last year, just like NM.

Hope Zener plans on some more nice sliding action.... and appy vines for Zener.

Sorry to be so late in updating. Cousins visiting this week for camping vacation. We are the dining and shower facility in the evening, so things get pretty busy after PMPS. We set dinner time for 6:30pm so we get test, feed and shoot done before the gang arrives. Zener is great with both kids, and the QOE (queen of everything) hides out. She will have none of it!

@Melissa & Mr T - nice start, good appy and then Mr Liver goes all drama queen on us...again.

@Lyresa - Zener is so shy. Numbers not quite so bootiful tonight.

@John - appy was steady today and after the morning surf, he hit sunnyside. :?

@Ann & Maggie - thanks for the appy vines, we can always use them. He had a nice surf in the AM and well, we won't talk about the PM. ;-)

@Linda - we had lots of wind today, more on tap Friday and Saturday. The kitties do not like the winds, ruffles their fur.

@Ann & Tess - nice slide down in the AM, then up the slide in the PM. A dry June is no fun in our part of the world, fire restrictions are in place, but there are still people who believe the rules are for everyone else. :YMSIGH:

@Cleo & Jane - Mr Z had a nice morning and now Mr Liver is all aquiver, again. Our biggest natural disaster to worry about is definitely fire. We get the rare tornado and flash flooding, can deal with snow related things in winter, but also rare for it to be too bad.

@Deborah & Shasta - Z looks so nice in his green swim trunks! We have the kitty "to go" bags almost ready, still need to get meds all sorted for Zener. We have not started on our "to go" bags yet.

@Doreen - thanks for the appy vines, Z can always use those!

@Carla - Mr Z gets his directions confused, often... No slide tonight, so off to bed. I-)

@Wendy & Neko - he is going up the slide, crazy cat. At least it appears to be holding steady at sunny yellow for the moment. There's always something worse. :-x Let's trade rain and dry for a week. We can dry Calgary out toot sweet. And we could use some of their rain. Paws crossed all is okay for Timber.

@Ella - spell definitely broken. Zener does not believe in too much of a good thing.

@rhiannon & shadow - thanks for the url, bookmarked! We've been on pre-evacuation notice twice here but not in several years. We have about 2-3 more weeks to worry, not sure it will ever be routine. We have most things sorted for the kitties, just in case. nailbite_smile

@Jamie & Jupiter - it's a u-ey lu-ey by the mighty Z. Darn. :evil:

@Marje & Gracie - yea, what happened? :-Q

Since Zener appears firmly committed to the yellow floor, night duty bean is heading off to bed as soon as the last meal of the evening is served. Ni ni LL. I-)
