All is pretty "calm" here in our corner. Trix was pretty gluttonous again last night, which was totally awesome to see! Since we're seeing more and more days like that, I'm really hoping and praying that her confidence about food and eating is coming back now. Maybe someday MamaBean won't have to hold the plate????? That's OK, Trix...if I have to hold the plate, I shall gladly do so for you - whatever it takes!
This morning has been a slower start, but that's pretty par for the course in the mornings. It's so much harder on the days that I work since I have such a limited amount of time to cram calories into her....I can't give her as much time between offerings as I can in the evening, and I think that break in between platefuls really helps her appy. But, I have the syringe feedings which "guarantee" me calories, so as long as I can't convince her to eat enough from a plate before I have to leave, I can always fall back on the syringe.
Nonetheless, she is snuggle city

Yesterday, my civvie Petey's appy was way off. I tell ya, it's always something. Usually that means a hairball is on the way, but so far no hairball. He, along with his two littermate brothers, also has digestive sensitivities, so it's not super uncommon for them to be "off" for a day or two sometimes, but no matter how many years I've dealt with it, it is ALWAYS so nerve rattling when anyone decides they don't feel like eating. I can deal with almost anything else better than a cat who won't eat. But, fortunately, by evening, his appy started coming back even though no hairball surfaced, and he ate an acceptable breakfast this morning. Phew. Crazy cats are trying to kill me, one way or another. It's a good thing they are so cute and sweet and I love them so much!!
Sending extra prayers out to Tricia and her civvie Sasha this morning...quick recovery from Sasha's surgery and a smooth transition back to life at home!
I don't know how time passes so quickly these days....I feel like I just got up, but it is time to squeeze in that workout and get ready for work. Have a great day, LL!
