Morning LL ~O) Shadow ate during the night and then did a fine job with his breffis. Raja is crying at the door to go out. (the sun is intense on the terrace in the morning so I am saying no to her and she isn't standing for it. Pesty girl)
Nothing much to report yet today. Shadow's healing blues through the night are pleasing to see...he is ready for the day.
I need more ~O)
Happy Father's Day to everyone ~ saying a little prayer for my own Father and others who have gone ahead.... :YMHUG:

Hey Shad-0! Great that we're on the same dose again. You win the AMPS. Let's surf today--no deep-sea stuff, OK? Remind Raja that I'll need her help in the kitchen for Ney's OTJ party tonight. Ney travels around, so I'm not quite sure where it will be. But we'll find it. You can help, too, if you like.

Temperature today will be about 88 degrees....it usually hovers around 92-94 in the summer. Never any higher which is good. Shadow asked his Daddy if he could caddy for him today...who ever heard of a cat caddy? :lol: I told him that I needed his help around the air conditioned apartment today and he said "Ok Mommy, if you insist." He has been watching the U.S. Open with us and he is very interested in the game. :lol:

Nice numbers this morning. Should be a nice surf for Shadow (anti-jinx). Wish you could send us some 90s. We have had 3 days in the 100s. First time since I have been in FL but it can leave.

Shadow is looking good, Pat! You're near Sarasota, right? I was in the Gainesville area visiting family last week and it was super HOT! With the index, it was over 100. I took my dad to a UF baseball game and it was miserable out even though it was 7:30 at night! At least we won, though! :mrgreen:

ohmygod_smile OMG Barbara, I thought you were talking about BG numbers and wondered why you wanted some 90's when Tuffy's been in the 60-70's. Then I realized you meant the outside TEMPERATURE!! :lol: :lol:

Actually, he is in the closet...Raja's closet. Thunderstorm again this morning. Poor little guy. nailbite_smile

I think I will keep talking to him about how his pancreas is healing and that soon it will be all better. It seems to be working. Duh. Wish I had done that earlier...like say 10 months ago? Raja heard me back then but he must have been daydreaming and missed the lecture. :-| Typical male.
Had a LC snack at +8 and ate it pretty well. Now with the thunder I am not sure he is in the mood to nosh. Will see.
(Raja is still outside on the terrace...never bothered by the Florida thunderstorms at all....but just don't let a drooler come within a mile of her... ) :o)

That's after his LC two snacks too...ok, he just ate some gravy with 2 temptations sprinkled on top. No syringing needed!
This is #1 of the three <50s he needs....let's surf the greens now Shadow boy!
ETA: I don't know why I keep talking about that since he hasn't been playing by MY rules at all....but that's what I am hoping for....3 separate days of <50 and then a reduction. No fair skipping ahead Shadow!

Actually Pat, I think it's cause he heard he would have to go to summer school if he didn't get it in gear and that's what did it!

:thumbup Not much more I can say about that! I'm going to PM you my address so you can send me a big package full of Florida sunshine. 10 days of straight rain and near freezing temps. Everything is flooded and the farmers have record losses. It is so depressing here, I feel like we entering the Dark Ages. The politics is even worse this government is going to suffer to the end, right now it feels like a suffering with no end! Aarrggg!

Happy Fathers Day to any Fathers out there! In Germany Father's Day is the week after Mother's day so already gone by.

Tess just begged and begged to host her first party, (the other one is just taking too long to get here), S☼lstice is big around here. No one had planned one yet, so CA central coast tomorrow. Tess is working out the details w/ Stu. It's a SUN party.

For the record, I am shooting the past couple of days using Randi's method....Randi if youa re out there...I am grabbing his shoulder area instead of the neck as you did with Max....just started to try it for some reason...I tried it in the past but not quite like this. Don't know if this has anything to do with his numbers, but I will keep doing it this way for sure! :mrgreen:
