Good Morning LL!!
(DGS FUEL, please Elsa!), and Happy Fursday!
LL! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! Lola and Bug are back on duty, and they are very excited! Seems that this Saturday is the Strawberry Full Moon, and Head LL Chef Rusty has asked them to make some pizzas for the party. They is in a quandary, how to do strawberries in a pizza. Hmmmmm.... I said strawberry ice cream on the pizza, but they said it's gotta be better than that! HUH? I bet they will do some infusion thing: strawberries in the crust. They is getting mega good! so. well. anyways. onwards!
time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and and Triple shot espressos, with beans from Ethiopia: they is primo! AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a Venti quad almond roca infused mocha, with chocolate caramel whip, garnished with caramelized almond clusters, chocolate shavings, a dusting of crystallized caramel and dark chocolate drizzle OH! No worries, a dollop of mocha almond fudge ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... good!
Yesterday was a great day - a pool day, a trail and berry hunting day. Nicholas's dad is still on vacation so he can help his mom with William, so we are on an abbreviated schedule this week. I still pick up in the morning, but am able to drop Nicholas off with his dad much earlier in the day. Right after his adventure he goes home, and is able to nap in his own bed. A special treat for him. Anyways - pool was great, as was the trails. This is what I wrote in last night's post: " HI everyone! Boy am I late this afternoon... where did the day go! oh yeah... at the pool!... and on the trail!... and eating berries!.... Nicholas and I had a great day at the pool. With school being out here I really expected mayhem, It actually was a quiet day there at the pool, not many kids at all... until about 11 then the masses showed up.. I suspect that by Friday it will be drastically different, when the summer program starts. oh well, we will wing it, make the best of the masses. Today was a good one for him, still loves it there. The energizer FISH was just that: energized, and 100% FISH. We played with the noodles alot, spent much time in the big pool, rode the slides, splashed until we were soaked.
AFter the pool, and lunch, we had another berry hunting session on the pool trails too. The huckleberries are starting to come in. so now we have to hunt those in addition to the salmonberries. It is amazing that he gets his fill of berries on that small trail. And... there are still some to ripen. LOL: we must be the only ones picking them. Needless to day he was ZONKED after all that.... I-) I-) I-) I-)
" Here is the Picassa link to the photos: Berries everywhere!, and Swimming!. I had also taken a few photos during breffis for Nicholas, as Lola and Bug seemed to want to hangout some with him while he ate. Nothing like Nannie used too do, but they still did show. Kinda cute. Nicholas sure does love his berries! Breffis with the Furkids
BTW: William had a great DR appt yesterday - his two week old one. He has gained about 10 oz, is healthy, with no issues at all. Dr says my DD can stop feeding him every three hours at night and let him go until he wakes hungry. Initially they wanted her to feed that often since he was born three weeks early. Guess little William has made up for lost ground. He's doing great - already trying to hold his head up. GO WILLIAM! I hear Nicholas was trying to show him the other night the proper way to do it.
Lola, bug and Elsa are doing great. No issues, short of my constant "LOLA! Stop that!" she is crazy...   I will try and take some more photos of them today.
Have a great day everyone. We are due for alot of rain today, so I suspect that Nicholas and I will need to find an indoor place to go.... maybe the aquarium! I will wait and see if the weather forecast will change in the next few hours before making a commitment.... I will try and get to condos when I can.
