6/20 King AMPS 95, +2 68, +4 82, +5 47 PMPS 63

today I said to be more relaxed with the measurements.. a while ago King wanted hugs and was meowing loudly.. I measured sugar +5 47. I gave him gourmet food in sauce.. should I make a reduction?
 
Yes, it looks like he wants to keep going down in dosing. This could still be the higher depot but like Angela said, we have to consider everything. Try 0.10U from tonight.

today King had his seventh and final injection for the UTI. we will go to his vet again next week to see if the enterococcus is gone. his vet told me since King is fine to stop the insulin shots. I had high blood sugar throughout my pregnancy. the vet thinks my cat had sugar because I did too. now that I have given birth and I no longer have sugar, he has been fine too. what do you think
 
It's possible that King will go into remission soon. However, to ensure a strong remission, we gradually taper the insulin dose rather than stop it abruptly. I would continue with 0.10U for just a few days more and if he stays in normal numbers for a week, you are ready to try taking him off insulin.
