I am trying to test less often...but waited 4 hours to test today and he dropped a decent bit. This is why I worry when I dont test :sad: I can never seem to predict what he is going to do...

Nice green, Jupe! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Jamie, would you have done anything differently if you tested at +4 and saw 150? He is perfectly safe at this number. :-D Did he eat anything within 45 mins to an hour before the shot? Did he eat after the shot? It would be great if he would surf at this number. Maybe a little LC will help him do that.

I was wondering if you could take up their food about an hour before you plan to test so that you can see numbers that don't have food influence. Does that make sense to you?

Jupe dropped about 50% from pre-shot to nadir. That is about what we want to see.

Keep him surfing in those nice green numbers if you can with just a tiny 1t bit of LC food.

Liz, I think that would be too difficult for me right now. I am having a hard time getting out of bed somedays.

I think since his preshot was so low... I think I am going to get a +1 and +2.... otherwise I will be worried to death the next hour

Whoohoo Jupiter!! Not sure if you shot or not Jamie. If you are stalling, hope his number comes up at next test, so you are not too off schedule :-D

I agree on the 2.5. I think Jupiter was listening about your plans to try to test less often. :lol: :lol: He's looking great. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Well it does seem that he may go back up a bit....I think I am going to test at +4 and as long as he is still in these blue numbers, I will go to bed and maybe just wake up 1 time during the night to test - just to help me to worry a little less

I'd probably test at +5....see where he is there and decide on the next test.

He's looking great!

Okay +5 is in 1 hour... so gonna try to stay awake for this 1 more hour and then hopefully I can nap for a few hours... think im passing a kidney stone and really tired tonight too.... will post in 1 hour... if hes still high I will nap for a few hours... maybe get just 1 other test sometime during the night?
 
+5 - 280.... wow can this be right?!!? i guess he must be bouncing.... hmmm is it okay to wait til AMPS to test again since he is so high?

if not.... I can wake up at whatever time to test... want to keep him safe of course
 
I think Jupiter gave you permission to sleep until AMPS. :-D Looks like he's bouncing from the 60's. Sleep well.

Yep Wendy! I think you are right he is giving me permission to sleep! Until he wakes me up wanting petted to sleep... He randomly does that some nights... and I pet him while I am falling asleep... but if I fall asleep before he does... he meows to wake me back up to pet him more! :lol:
