Hello everyone,

Please take a peek at Juba's SS to see what she's been up to this past month!
She has seen some gorgeous numbers, we increased to 1.5 units of Levemir, and then had a first decrease to 1.25 units due to 3 drops under 50.

Tonight....I have absolutely no idea what happened!!!!!
That I am aware of, I don't believe she got into anything. My husband was home the entire day, as I was out until around Juba's +7ish.

Is this just a crazy bounce??
Do kitties occasionally do this??
I am so disappointed as Juba was doing SO well!

(I'm feeling discouraged and worried...)

Did you retest? That looks like it might have been a wonky strip unless she got into something she really shouldn't have....like Haagen-Dazs

Sadly, I tested 2 strips and the first was 502, and the second was 540, so I went with the higher one...
I honestly have no idea what happened.

Ironically I was eating some ice cream this evening, but made sure to throw away the container and lid! Lol

I can't find anything she would have gotten into, she's acting like her usual self, but she did seem a bit more hungrier than usual. Her last meal before dinner was at +9.

I guess we'll see what happens tonight.

(Hopefully Juba will go back down!)

Well I don't see anything that would have caused her to go that high.....I really think the only explanation is she got into "something"

There's no reason for her to bounce that high

Hopefully whatever "it" was will work it's way out quickly!!

I'll definitely be keeping an eye on her tonight. Hopefully when I test her in a few hours her numbers will go back down.
I asked my husband and he said he had no idea what she would have gotten into...besides the sink with a few dirty dishes...
Hopefully it was just a random thing, and we'll get back on track in the morning.

Alright so Juba is now 336/+4.5!!
Yay!
Whatever she got into must be going out of her system (still can't find what she got into.)
I will be testing her again in a couple hours!
(Fingers crossed we can get back into good numbers and continue our journey with at least somewhat smooth sailing!)
