Sorry for the late post. I was in bed most of the day and DR. appt. in afternoon.

I felt so bad for my Daph today, I walked downstairs and instead of seeing my poor little girl just stretching on her bed with sleepy eyes, I see her pretty much looking just like this :shock: I knew something was up, and yup, I forgot to turn the feeder to on. Poor girl didn't get any food for 9 hours. Other then that, she seems to be taking this diet thing pretty well. As long as I give her little bits every half to 1 hour, she is fine, and is able to eat a little less, and not feel too hungry. I do see how that food (in small amounts), really brings her BG down. That +9 was on the high side for her usual +9s, but it brought her PMPS down pretty well.

Sending healing vines to all the kitties and beans who may need them today.

Aw....I'm sure Daphne understands these things happen sometimes, and all is well, now that she once again has a full belly!! Wow on feeding her every half hour or so!! You need a line up of autofeeders to help keep up the pace :lol: !

I hope you guys are surviving the heat. I'm actually enjoying it, but I know I'm odd that way - I hate being cold! Have a great evening!

Hi Barb. I'm sorry you feel so awful. I mean that sincerely.
I'm sure Daphne forgot all about her hunger, the moment her little tongue touched the fuds.

Hi Barb, sorry you haven't felt well today, and hope the dr's appt. helped. The feeding often and in small amounts is looking good on her cycle. I'm sure all is forgotten and forgiven with Daphne, it happens. Have a restful evening and night.

Thanks for visiting Amy, Barb, Ann, Ella… I can only say, I feel better in the heat then in the cold, but thats not much, I get by day by day… hoping for some relief of this pain soon.

Now Miss Daphne, on the other hand has not forgiven, or forgotten, all night long, she has been at me, for food, the 9 hours has traumatized her so bad, she must think she is going to starve to death at any moment. :lol: Ever since we put her on the wet food in Nov., she just lives to eat, she loves her food so much. I never realized she didn't like her hard food. We had 4 other cats that ate wet food, and she never touched it. Oh, well, like we all say, she's a cat.
