Good afternoon, LL! Zener is doing a little better this afternoon, but he had a lousy morning, starting with a puke after his meds and first bowl of food. I didn't see him do it but he puked into his second bowl of food. And then I wondered why he didn't eat it. :roll: :lol: Duh. Then I finally figured it out because the bowl had more in it that when I put it on his picnic table. Jeesh. So I took a few deep breaths, waited awhile, and we started over with meds. Then waited a while longer and tried some food, which he ate and kept down. Then the shot. Then I got the +2 and thought "uh oh, the new pen is really doing its thing" and woke up Anne. :lol: She was a good sport about it though, as I left to go for a training run and she took over. She ended up giving him 0.1 ml of bupe and he felt better within 30 mins. We should be getting the gabapentin today. Paws crossed that will give him the pain relief without the constipation like bupe does. He is also running short on the budesonide because the vet pharmacy got behind due to Memorial Day weekend. Hope that comes today. I should go check the mail.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans. Paws crossed for Juno's OTJ trial. :mrgreen: Happy Monday, LL!

Poor Zener. Not a fun way to start the day. I'm glad he felt better after the bupe. Nice cycle today.

Aw, poor Z...not a fun start to the day at all! Im' glad the bupe helped him feel better, but hope the gaba gets there soon and works even better for Zener.

I hope Zener's tummy has settled and all of you were able to enjoy the afternoon!

I'm sorry Zener (and you too, Liz) had a tough morning.
I hope he's feeling better this evening.

Nice blue earlier today.
I hope he slides down again.
Yay for new pen working well!

Good job to rescue your day, Z Man. Now, a nice Zener slide would be in order. Rusty is waiting for you in the lagoon.

Poor Zener! The beans sure are working hard for you! You had some pretty numbers today, but you and Shasta had the same stinky pinky number for PMPS. She came down to the yellow floor and now the blue floor...so you should follow her down. :-D Hope all the meds came in and hope you all have a nice, puke-free evening!!!
 
Meds came today. :-D So we are back to his regular dose of the budesonide, we had to cut it in half for a couple of days, so we could give him something while waiting for the budesonide to come in the mail. According to the pharmacy, the holiday got them and the post office backed up. :roll: Our local compounding pharmacy called this afternoon and we got the gabapentin, so started the first of that tonight. Appy is so-so today, but no PM pukes! :smile: And, drum roll please..... early tonight, the mighty Z caught (and consumed) a bug!

Doesn't look like a Zener slide is in the works tonight. The beans are worn out with all the drama. :YMSIGH:
