Nice run of numbers yesterday, other than the spectacular dive!:
AMPS 343.8
+2.5 88.2
+4 82.8
+6 109.8
PMPS 237.6
+2 160.2
+4 160.2
+5 187.2

Surprised to only get a pink this morning, was expecting a higher bounce. Hopefully he's not saving it up for later. BEBT this morning, waiting outside on the deck making noises at the glass door when I came downstairs. Napping on the couch now looking quite pleased with himself.

hope everyone has a good weekend.

Re: 6/2 Rupert AMPS 358, +3 318,+7 525.. sigh

well, so much for thinking he was clearing the bounce already. massive bounce in progress. sigh. SO FRUSTRATED!.

Hi Pip,
Hang in there (nothing much else to do with a bounce like that)! I don't have any suggestions for you other than to speculate that you might try finding the right-- limited-- combination of foods and then sticking to just those foods for a while. It seems that Rupert is sensitive to lots of change. If you can balance your present dose with foods that don't tend to spike or drop his bg, you might get him off the roller coaster. Sometimes, as you have observed, a food that is too low in carbs (EVO?) can disrupt a cycle.

Anyway, something to consider.

Have a great weekend. How are your horses?

Hope you're coming down tonight Rupie, you're going to send your MamaBean grey!

yellow for his +4.. yay... coming down and not too wickedly fast for him. hopefully he surfs down to something decent overnight and we have a good surf again tomorrow. off to bed for this bean. Have a good evening everyone!

Gosh those bounces can be so frustrating! flip_cat grumpy_cat flip_cat
Zener has been a bouncy guy too and it just now seems that after a year on Lantus, the bounces aren't quite as dramatic {{{anti-jinx}}}}. Rupert is having a very colorful PM cycle - red to pink to yellow. Is he trying to run the rainbow tonight?
