Testing again at +6.

Had an unusual occurrance...he pooped outside the litter box, but I have a feeling he might have needed to go just as I was cleaning it because he came over looking. I finished quick, but maybe not quick enough. It's clean with freshly added litter.

This hasn't happened since before the asthma attack that set all this off. I'm hoping that it's not a sign of something else now.

ETA: Changed from +5 to +6 I missed the +5 mark, so next test at +6 is in about 15 minutes

Hi there, I read you said you had to get prescription from you vet for syringes at walmart?
If that's what they told you that's wrong, just go to them say you want the 3/10 31 gauge 8mm
or which every one you want, they have to give them to you without script that is not needed.
My sister works there she had said call main office if this happens.Anyone can buy them now.

OK...going there again tomorrow. I'm pretty fed up with WalMart's pharmacy in all honesty. The one here closes everyday from 1:30 - 2:00 pm for lunch. I don't understand that...even Walgreen's 24 hour pharmacy does not do that.

I hate having to go there for things, and the ones in the pharmacy are idiots I don't even get my own meds there either does my sister or brother, So if they give you any grief ask for manager then call head office if not reported they can't fix,she has worked there for 18 years she said they will fix the problem but it has to be brought up. +6 is at 309. So we are at the nadir now, but I'm thinking because this is an "adjusted" dose again, this number might change significantly again at the next nadir tonight?

Next will be a +11 I think, since this seems to be an important time as well.

He wants to eat I think...everytime I go into the kitchen he sits where his food bowl usually is. Can someone direct me to the place where I can find the "meatcicles"? I think I'd like to have them for him, but know no food 2 hours before the AM/PM pre-shot tests.

He also seems a bit snoozy. Is playful here and there if I initiate, but that's a cats life I guess. :-D

+6 is not necessarily nadir. Nadir is the lowest point in the cycle. It may be at +6. However, it may not. Some cat's have an early nadir whereas others have a late nadir and some have a nadir at +6. And, to complicate matters further, the nadir can shift around. If you look at Poe's cycle yesterday during the AM cycle, nadir was at +8.

In Illinois, you do need a prescription for syringes. I buy my syringes online through ADW -- there's a link at the top of the board. If you want to purchase on-line, you'll also need a prescription faxed to the seller.

I call them "catsickles." You mix low carb food with enough water to make it soupy and then freeze. I freeze the food in an ice cube tray so I have portions.

I was thinking that too...nothing yet is consistent and I really want to get all the testing I can in during this 3 day cycle while on this dose so I can see Poe's "pattern."

Thanks for the catsickle recipe. I have to see if I still have ice cube trays since I moved here recently and there is an icemaker :)
