All Ps in place. Well, he has all the Ps..but one was not exactly in place. cat(2)_steam Mr. Vertical Pee managed to get over the edge of his new WAY tall lb, onto the wall, floor, little rug, etc. etc. etc. ohmygod_smile This box measures 13 inches from the top of the litter to the top of the box.. He either had a step stool so he could reach over the edge, or he's got some kind of a peeshooter :lol:
Other than that, all is good here. The civies are on little rugs zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, Ollie is on his favorite blanket in the middle of the bed. (sweeties all of them)

Autofeeders have arrived and are being tested. Yahoo..

I got a great laugh from this. I'm sorry, I was laughing at your choice of words and not the act. We had the problem, and it's not funny. Luckily the bigger LB worked for us. Do you think an additional LB might work. He might just be marking that one to let civvies know it's his and he doesn't appreciate their scent on it. Just a thought.

Sorry about the LB incident from Mr. Tall Legs. I hope it was easy to clean up. Time to revoke his step stool privileges. :lol:

Hi Mary.
I had to get big totes to make into LBs for Checkers, because he did the same as Ollie. I just cut the front down with a hacksaw.

Before that, I watched him one day, kicking a big pile of litter, into a corner, then backing up to it, so his rear legs were up high......then he let go...on the wall. :lol:
I began to staple plastic on the wall, hanging into the box. Then I discovered the big Rubbermaid totes. Solution!

HiJohn, I've got 3 cats and 4 litter boxes...i'm out of lb spaces :lol: ...if i add another i'll have to carry it on my head ..that could be a MESS nailbite_smile

Hi Barb, This box IS a big tote. I was soooo sure he couldn't get over the edge. I'm gonna try and watch him. I can only think he's standing on the darn edge. Can't believe he can shoot that high. I'm going to try making a "thing" to hang plastic from and see if that doesn't help.

My next move is to put a weight on his tush. Then he won't be able to lift it as high. I guess if this is my worst problem i should thank my lucky stars.

Nice numbers for Oliver today. Sorry about the pee getting over the box. Good luck figuring out what he is doing. I hope the kitties like the autofeeders.

Oh well, he has great numbers, so he can be cut a little slack :lol:
When we adopted Rusty we were told that he needed a huge litterbox for just the reason you are experiencing. We did get him a large, hi-backed box, but discovered early on that he really enjoys a normal-size litterbox--the kind with the detachable baffle that goes around the upper edge. So he has both and uses both respectfully and fastidiously. Would you like him to come over to talk to Ollie? :lol: (Are you sure the culprit is Ollie?)

Hi Ella, PLEASE..send Rusty over! I know it's Ollie because my little boys are sooooo very neat. always have been. they each leave a little round deposit...all in one spot. Oliver on the other hand has always been a messy lb boy. It was Ollie's brother who was always so very neat and he crossed over so early, he never had a chance to teach Ollie lovely lb manners.

I gave in and got 3 covered lb today. so there.. one piece of paper towel folded between the top and bottom to catch the dribbles. OK Ollie, whatcha got NOW? The gaunlet is down.
