Yesterday Neko was back to blue starts before the daily pink bounce then did a lot of blue surfing at night.

Today starts the 40th day in a row of bouncy days and dropping nights, not that I'm counting. :lol: During those 40 days, or more properly the nights, :roll: she has earned a couple of reductions. I've noticed that every once in a while she has to switch to the multiple times under 50 or once under 40 to earn a deduction. This dose seems to be one of them. I'll going to have to do more afternoon or after dinner naps for a while.

Other than Neko's numbers, it's a very sunny day here. Neko had quite the long yard patrol this morning and I suspect she used the outdoor LB as the indoor one saw less evidence this morning. The neighbourhood young black cat was just hanging around the solarium, driving Theo crazy, while Neko just watched from her basket. Neko is now inside for a while. DH is starting to paint outside and I don't need Neko to help! I can hardly wait for that side of the house to be painted so I can start putting my tomato plants in.

Good job for the blue surf last night, Neko, but, hey, where are you going? Come back down, love.
Good luck with the house painting ~ there's nothing like fresh garden tomatoes.

40 days and nights.. but who's counting? I hope she switches her/your sched. and you get some nighttime sleep.

I'm amazed at her story of catching and letting a hummer go. She must be the quickest cat on the planet.
I hope DH is a good painter and you get your tomatoes in soon.

Hi guys,
I hope Neko decides soon what her cycles are supposed to be! She is enjoying being a challenge, I think!

I didn't see any garlic scapes at the market, but it is a little early for them in this climate. I love them! Our garden chives are up and forming flowers, so we have that to look forward to. Our little greenhouse is going to be re-framed this summer (it's an extension on the 1920s garage), so we are not going to plant anything in it this year. The chipmunk will be disappointed.

How's your elbow? Are you rowing? Wishing your DH (and you!) a good painting of the side of the house.

The downward part of Neko's cycle has begun. I swear she has one cycle every 24 hours that starts and ends about 1/3 through the AM shot cycle. Our +9.5 snack was 1/2 hour late :o . I was braced against the ladder at the corner of the house. DH got just the eaves done on the one side, but it's the hardest part of all. Stucco and high up, yuck!

@Josie - Neko was up to her usual, literally. :lol: Maybe blue tonight. I've got one tomato plant that is very tall and overdue for planting. I can hardly wait.

@John - Neko finally hit the top floor somewhere mid day and turned it around. I wanted to hire someone to paint but DH was all keen to do it himself. It'll just take longer. I'll be helping too. A couple more days of dry and I'll be able to plant.

@Carla - I have no idea how high she went, I stopped testing. :lol: :lol:

@Mary - I thought the 40 days and nights was poetic. I do get some nights of sleep but less likely with the higher dose now. One night Neko actually caught two hummers. :shock: I booted her in after that. I think the hummer was distracted chasing another and not paying attention.

@Ella - Neko has been predictable lately, just not the way I'd like. :lol: It's probably another week before I'd have enough scapes for a meal. Gotta dig out that pesto recipe again. Sounds like quite the greenhouse project but it'll be nice to have it in good shape again. My DM has to do the same with hers. I have just started rowing a couple times a week. So far so good. Painting the whole house will take a while, hoping for decent weather for a while now.
