Odd cycle last night, looks almost like a fur shot or poor absorption. Oh well, just means less pokies today.

We did get a tiny bit of rain overnight, not enough to deter cats from the solarium. I'm going to have to vacuum the solarium again soon. Outside the house we have cottonwood puffs floating around. Inside we have Neko fur puffs floating around. Anytime I walk into the kitchen, it starts a puff moving. I did comb her yesterday, but I like to think of it as "loosening" her fur instead. Gotta love shedding season.

Neko's got her usual 5 P's today. CPC as usual and a good score on Theo's bowl as he seems to be generally off poultry these days.

I am always joking that there must be a bald cat somewhere in my house, judging by the amount of fur everywhere else - well, I don't use that joke anymore, since I now have a partially bald one.

Neko, enjoy your pokey break, but don't get used to it. Mama wants to see a little more numbers action out of you!

We got lots of promising clouds yesterday, but they didn't deliver a darned drop. Clear as a bell today.

I always put any spare cat or dog fur in the garden for the birds to use for lining their nests, very snug.

Great WCR for Miss Neko--hope Theo is okay and eating? It is good to have a pokey break once in awhile! I Hear you on those cottonwood puffs and flying fur inside the house- ack! Coughing up hairballs is next!

It actually rained today- not enough but better than the light useless showers of the other day!

Last year I put out Rusty's fur to keep the chipmunks out of the planter, thinking it would be a deterrent. lol! They took it all for their nest!

Marilyn, Carla, Peg, Tricia, Liz, Suki, Rhiannon, Ruth, Ella - Neko, ever the contrarian, headed the wrong way. I'll blame the full moon and hold off testing her til I get up for rowing. Not that she's anywhere to be found anyway - I saw her heading out with what looked like a fishing rod. Seriously though, she was chasing the ball Mariko gave her again before dinner, including batting and following it downstairs. Been ages since she's done that.
@Tiger and Ruth - Theo's fine, just on a poultry strike, temporary I hope. He's a boy cat, wolfed down tonight's red meat, venison.
