Another blue AMPS! Not even going to mention the B-word, but so far so good! But yeah, like I don't say it enough...NEED MOOOOAR SLEEEEEP.

Checking him at +1 and giving him some more food and then putting sister on duty for +2 and food.

He got some of Angel's food about 10 min ago, probably a tablespoon or so, so I just gave him a tablespoon. Will test at +4.25 so the food has some time to take effect. Thanks, Liz!

Isn't it great? Actually you don't need to test until +4.5. Maybe he's settling in to Lantus quickly. Paws crossed.

Surfer boy! Way to go Mr. Kink! Just keep giving small amounts of food. He needs to still be interested if you need tobring him up.

Good! Feed a little, 1 or 2 teaspoons (not too much, you want to make sure he will eat later). How much has he eaten compared to his normal daytime fuds? Test again at +6?

Will do.

He's eaten everything I've given him so far - and happily! He ate his breffis, second breffis and elevensies. (about 4.5oz total)

Then we gave him a couple tablespoons earlier, and I'll give him a little more now and test again at +6!

ETA: Another thought - are you keeping good records so you can see how he responds to fuds? This could be handy for the future.

LOL I wasn't - but I've basically been giving him fuds everytime you guys have told me to, so I just updated that on his SS.

Just tested him and he's 98 @ +6 :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

You can delete some of the earlier numbers off the subject line, whichever ones you think are least important. That's what I do.

That 98 is good! He probably doesn't need any food as he is likely getting close to or past nadir and will continue to rise as the insulin wears off. What are you thinking for the next test?

He's still in normal numbers (50-120) and still well below renal threshold (usually around 200).

Well, cut to PMPS and everything was looking fiiiiine....and theeeen....yeller. Oh well. At least it's not pink! (maybe I shouldn't say that and jinx it)

Hoping maybe this is just a food spike and he'll come back down tonight. I shot and fed at PMPS, and then went out with friends and left the auto feeder on for him at +1 and +2 and a couple tablespoons at +3 (which he definitely didn't need :roll - so yay for being able to go out! I found myself wanting to be at home and test him, but I know it was good to get out. I wish I could carry him around in a little basket and test him whenever I want. LOL.
