Blue, so blue, so boring blue (I love it!). Appetite better, but not great, mood a bit brighter, so we're making progress. I'm going with IB & offering lots of bone broth.

Occurred to me that the addition of can food for bg control is putting her system off. She started this last fall when I was gone for a month & my housesitter/daughter was supplementing with cans & kibble due to her long work days (afraid to leave raw out so long). Just a thought

I cut a 4mg ondansetron into thirds & give every 8 hours. The pea sized bits of pill pocket are working well so far. I give 3 at a time (2 unlaced) & also toss undosed ones at her at random times to keep her guessing. Sometimes coat with parmesan, sometimes FortaFlora, sometimes plain. Keep her guessing

Yesterday's blue with a bit of PS sunshine https://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/thr...-198-pmp-235-3-110-5-122.264030/#post-2958355

You might have hit the nail on the head. @Jessica A had the same issue with her kitty. You want to see if she is allergic to any of the ingredients in the canned food. You could use a little honey or karo to increase the carb% of the raw food when you want to prevent dives.

ooh, I like that idea, will try. I see 1tsp is about 6 grams carbs. How does that convert to %, say if I want to add 10% to a tablespoon of raw
Honey/karo would be 100% carbs, I think. It would be a matter of trial and error to see how much you need to add to raw to get your desired carb%. You could start with a drop and work your way up!

by the way @Bandit's Mom - that month I was in Delhi & totally loved it
It's a city full of history, but very different from Mumbai where I live. In terms of culture and people. Did you go to Agra as well?

My husband was working so we weren't able to travel. I went exploring on my own (with camera) every day and still didn't hit all the stars on my map. Everyone was really friendly and wanted to help me find my way & make suggestions (took me a bit to adjust to the attention, I live in the forest). I was generally on foot & there were tuktuk drivers who stopped to chat whenever they saw me to see where I'd been & make suggestions - and the food, omg the food!

Not sure I would call people in Delhi friendly! And tuktuk (we call them autos - short for auto-rickshaws) drivers are the worst! I am surprised you weren't hassled. Even more surprised the food didn't give you a serious tummy upset!
I think if I were younger it would have been different, but I have a firm 'no thank you' and the street smart of a couple years living in New York. We're accustomed to spicy, were careful about where we ate, but sampled pretty much everything. It was wedding season for added bonus
