Same time and number as yesterday :p

My spreadsheet has been teasing me these past few days. Sometimes it works perfectly, other times I need to open it on my MacBook before it works in the sheets app again, sometimes even 2-3 times a day :banghead:
It's really annoying!

Oh well... she's green! Hope she'll surf the green!
 
+6? Hard to say as still gathering data. Yesterday and today AM, the +3 was lower than PS and she went down after. The +1 doesn't say as much.
 
Mauer is looking so much better on levemir. So glad you switched.

Which canned food Sasha? If you can find the manufacturers website for a particular brand and the specific flavor, that lists the minimum and maximums for protein, fat, fiber, moisture (water), ash, you can use this simple carb calculator to find a rough estimate of the carb content of any canned food.

I can't find it on the list, and it appears that it's called different things depending on country. I'll look into the calculator tomorrow. Thanks for the link, I needed that :oops::D:p
 
So the "old" canned food is 5.7% carbs, the new not complete balanced diet is 1%.
So I guess that's why I've seen greens these past few days.

The reason it's not a balanced diet is because its pure meat, like raw feeding in a can. No bone added. But since they're raw fed when Mauer gets insulin and is covered with nutrients that way, I wanted something pure without vegetables and other unnecessary things, so Mauer can loose weight.

I've also begun feeding ProFibre, pre and probiotics with fibre. Miver needs fibre for his constipation. Since they've gotten ProFibre Mauer has pooped every single day! Usually it's only every 2-3 days. Miver is making anacondas! :D:p

I know nothing about cat's nutrition, but I have read plenty of time that that are onther micro nutrients that pure meat does not have? I've attempted to make food at home and we needed to buy a bunch of additives, such as taurine, b12, etc... Can you get feringa in the netherlands? It is a german company, and thei canned wet food is low carb but "complete", quite cheap in the uk too...

I'm in Denmark so I don't know about the Netherlands :p
We have a different approach here, we grind meat, bones too, if anything added it's fish. Bi vitamins or taurine. I use mush barf, there's vitamins and oils in.
So because they get mush barf, I'm not concerned about the nutritional value in the pure meat, I only use it to fed small meals throughout the day. They've gotten ferringa for years, and there's vegetables in.

Ive used this too.
Chicken is 90% meat, 10% bone, just missing intestines. I belive the recipe I've used is 5% liver, 10% bone rest is meat from different animals. No supplements added. I've been wondering about that too, but the recipe is from two Danish breeders and they've used it for years.
The only reason the canned food I'm using isn't balanced is because they lack carbs and vegetables, they're meant for dogs. But... meat is meat.
I buy my mush barf in a store with two very knowledgeable ladies, they've given me the green light on what I'm doing.
