You Thought Yesterday's Condo Was Late?
Okay, I know I said I'd post earlier today. I also know this is really way too late to be posting Tuesday's condo, but I'll be gone most of the day tomorrow, so that condo will be late, too, and I figured, what the heck?
So Cinco has been playing working in the shallows a lot today. Keeping an ear on the surfers. He had to holler at Max earlier when he went out too far. This deputy LagoonMeister stuff is hard work! He got over his tummy upset of yesterday and ate well this morning, then back to the summer appy. Lots of FD Salmon has had to be used. He has been very demanding all day about getting back rubs. I think he's spoiled!
@Ann, I took your idea and went to Babies R Us for a onesie. I got two sizes 'cause I wasn't sure which he'd need. The 6 months was too small and the 9 months was too big.
There was just no way to keep the parts covered that I need him to leave along and still leave the part exposed that are needed for elimination duty. He was NOT thrilled with having to try them on, let me tell you! So I guess it's still the e-collar. We'll see what they say at UCD tomorrow.
I did purchase a plastic storage tub and I'm going to have DH cut an opening for him in the end, wider at the top to accommodate the cone. We'll see if that will work in place of the two litter boxes. He CAN get into the big one - I watched him today. But he doesn't always want to go to the trouble, I guess.
Minka is having a bad day. No food this morning until I broke out the baby food. Even that she will only eat one teaspoon at a time. So I've spent most of the day following her around with a jar of baby food, trying to get it down her. It think she's had close to two jars, so that's good. She doesn't fidget like she's hurting, but she looks "off" and her appy is blah. She's also purring constantly - very quietly. I've come to realize she does that when she doesn't feel good.
She's had every drug in my arsenal and it doesn't seem to have helped. I'm at a loss.
Sasha and Harvey both ate well today. Sasha is still in hot pursuit of the baby food as soon as a jar is opened. She's a very determined little thing!
She hasn't been in the papasan chair today, so no picture yet.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans.
Prayers and vines to Amy's DF, Marje's DM, Chris' DM and Elise's DM.
