Good Morning LL

Checkers is unusually active this morning, despite yet another day of cold rain. I've had to turn heat on, for second day now.

Checks has been chasing Tux around the house.....very unusual behavior. Normally, it's young Clancy, doing the instigating.
But that's play, this isn't. :sad:

I heard a scuffle under my bed, had to get Checks out of there, now Tux won't come out and is growling at me.
Now I'm worried that something is wrong with Tux and Checkers knows it, therefore is picking on him.

Door is shut, and I'm waiting for Tux to calm down, and want to come out.
Of course, these things always happen on a weekend, with clinic closing early.

Oh I hope Tux is all right and that it was just a little family squabble! Do you think he will come out to join you if you lay down for a bit?

Noooooooo, I hit the wrong button and lost my whole reply. Grrrrrrrrr.

Tux came out, having pooped on bedroom rug. In eleven years, he has never gone outside LB. Checkers literally scared the poop out of him, I guess.
I felt him all over, and he has no injuries. I will never know what was wrong this morning. Checkers never instigates fights.
Normally, he just reacts, to Clancy's mock fights.
Checks and Tux have been buddies since the day they met.
Poor Tux actually looked ashamed at what he had done. Well, that's my interpretation of his look.
This is Tux. I rarely talk about him, 'cause he is such a sweet boy, and doesn't do anything to warrant attention...stories, I mean, obviously he get lots of attention. :-D

Checkers is doing great on yellow with a hint of blue. I hope Tux is alright. Keep an eye on him.

I'm sorry that you had such a rude awakening this morning. I hope Tux is OK. He is a beautiful kitty. His facial markings remind me of Stu's (the white moustashe on just one side). Checkers, you should be nice to your best buddy!

Looks like a good AMPS to start the day, Checks.

The rest of the country is so hot and we are so cool here in the Northeast that we have the heat on! Have a good day, Barb. I hope all your kitties will be fine now that whatever went down this morning is past!

Morning Barb - wow, an eventful morning there today. Tux is a beauty - I never knew you had three cats. Way cool! Sounds like Tux is OK - one will never know why they do what they do.. :shock:

Looks like decent start today for Checkers - sunny yellow, and not too high. Surf well today Checkers!

Well, so much for quiet Saturday mornings, eh? Hope the rest of your day is more peaceful Barb. I hope that your handsome Tux is okay. The rest of the day should tell if there is more strange behavior from him. Hope he is okay....loved the pix! Hugs!

pretty yellow numbers for Checkers! Sorry about the cat fight, these guys do keep us guessing! Rupert puts up with Sophie being crabby for quite sometime and then every now and then he just SNAPS! and gives her a swat and chases her all the way up the stairs and under the bed, and makes sure she stays there for a while! GO TO YOUR ROOM YOU BRAT!... hope Tux is okay and Checks is just picking on him 'cos he feels good or maybe Tux said something really rude!!

Flaaaaat yellow today. Pain in back end tonight. That may have been his problem this morning, and taking it out on Tux.
He didn't appear in distress, but slept all day. Wish I'd seen it earlier so I could have nipped it in the bud, but he hid it well, if he was hurting. Enough of rain already! :sad:
He will feel better soon, on dose of bupe.

Flat yellow means??? Poor Checkers. The rain takes it out of all of us buddy. Hope your day calmed down Barb! Tux is beautiful!!
 
I hope little Tux is okay, what a cutie pie! I bet that could be why Checkers got mad at him if he was in pain. Sorry about your back pain. The barometric pressure back there sure would not help with a chronic condition. Feel better Barb and Checkers and Tux, too!
 
Aww...poor Tux and Checks. Kitties definitely do odd things when they are in distress. Just last week, my oven broke and the timer was randomly going off. It stressed out my civvie Petey so much that he was attacking everyone else.

I hope both Checkers and Tux are feeling better this evening. Group :YMHUG: for you guys!
