Supposed to rain this afternoon. But this morning I was in the yard with my kitties.
Ravan's BG is better since I increased by a tiny bit. I'd like it to stay below 120 I'll just wait & see how he does.
Peggy Sue was feeling really good! She was playing with her mousie & ate an entire plate of Sardines! ( they only get fish once a month & they prefer to dine "Alfresco"

) she even nudged Ravan from his dish & cleaned his plate.
I've been reading a lot about mouth problems in cats. I believe her teeth are being absorbed. I know it's supposed to be painful but I don't think she'd be playing & eating good if she was in a lot of pain? The CBD & a pinch of Turmeric must help!
My cat Alice has Stomatitis for many years.( she was about 2 years old when it began) All her teeth were absorbed & during that time she never lost weight or showed any signs that she was not feeling well. I took her to the vet because her eyes were watering & she was sneezing.
I was shocked when he told me nearly all her teeth were gone & she has Stomatitis.
Peggy Sue will be on antibiotic for about a week, then if she's doing ok I'll have her teeth cleaned. I told the Vet I do not want him pulling any teeth if they're not lose & I do not want him "digging" any out.
Teeth being absorbed are very fragile & can crack & leave fragments if he tries to pull them out. (I'm hoping it's not something more serious.)
A few years ago I spoke to a Vet online that has been trying to find a cure for Stomatitis. He told me that pulling all the teeth rarely stops the Virus that's causing it. He said It's a virus that lives in the Mucosa of the throat. They are now trying stem cells to cure it .
While kitties are sleeping,I'm going to the Health club to "work out"
Have a Wonderful Day!
