Morning, ~O)

Zeus ate another 1/2 can of food last night before bed. In total he had about a can and a half plus an entire FF appetizer in the first 5 hours of the PM cycle. So happy that he asked for food and I didn't have to beg him to eat. I had set an alarm for a +8 but it didn't go off, it was still set when I woke up at +10 so I got a test then instead... 235, not too bad I guess.

Mr. Zeus had a bit of soft stinky poo last night and again this morning, not surprised. We got up early for Pepcid, and Zeus has been patiently waiting for breffis. He is sitting in my lap right now and it's time to test but I hate to move him. Ok, he just got up, brb. Low yellow, not too bad. He is eating breffis right now... No CPC, so I tried to give him another FF appy but he didn't want it.

We are off to the Vet this morning at +2.5. I know Zeus won't like getting in his carrier again, but I want to see what the vet is going to recommend for us.

I'm glad Zeus is eating for you. I hope the vet has a good plan for you and Zeus doesn't get too stressed having to go back in the carrier again.

Yippee for good appy last night. Hope it returns today. My girl hates the carrier too, until it is time to get into to come home! Hope the vet can give you some answers.

YAY! We have an appy. I'm glad that the fuds is back on board, hope it continues. It's just great that he is eating.

I wish you luck at the vetty, and hope you come home with a plan. I expect that you will.

Nice on the yellows! Blues are next Zeus. Paws crossed for you. Be good with the carrier. :-D

I wanted to add my good vetty vines and prayers for you and Zeus this morning. Sorry about that carrier Zeus, but it's for a good thing. Soon you'll be home and i'm sure there's a special treat for you!
That amps is a nice start to the day. I hope his vetty visit doesn't make him go up too much.

The vet visit went pretty well... He was a bit dehydrated again so more fluids... The tech was horrible, she had to poke him I can't even tell you how many times, then it kept leaking out, poor Zeus' fur got all wet. Actually made me feel good because I don't think I could do any worse. I am going to have to do the fluids at home, the ER hospital said to do so if he vomited, but now the vet thinks every couple of days would be best. He wants to keep Zeus on the appy stimulant Mirtazapine. He said to hold off on the cerenia to see how Zeus does. He also wants to start the leukeran, so called in the script to the compounding pharmacy. Zeus' BG was only 230 when we got home.

I'm at lunch now. Zeus came running, the fluid has gone down into his leg. It looks funny. He had eaten most of the food that I left out, and I gave him some fresh food. He ate another 1/4 can. BG 223. He is liking the yellow today. :-D
