Yesterday's Condo

Willie continues to do great. His aunt Amanda is visiting, so he is getting lots of attention and he is spending lots of time outdoors. He's a happy, furry purry boy!

DS and I have a nice exchange. She gets to do her laundry in exchange for helping with mowing the lawn. Win win for both of us! About to head back over to the apartment for more stuff. Maybe will get everything moved today, though will probably be tomorrow or Tuesday. Light at the end of the tunnel!!

Looks like the new house is agreeing with Willie!!! I would mow your lawn for free!! I used to live in a house where I had a nice big yard front and back and I was the envy of the neighborhood. I spent my Friday mornings mowning, edging, pruning, planting.....God, I just loved it. Now....I have rocks, yucky desert landscaping. Hate it so much, but the laws here don't allow new home builds to have lawns unless it's just a postage stamp size and what can you do with that? Enjoy your house and your family! Bee-u-ti-filllll Willie! He likes having company to spoil him! I hated the packing up, but loved the unpacking and arranging.

We got rid of our lawn as we are in a semi desert area too. I can't see wasting water on something that shouldn't grow here and needs so much maintenance to boot. We just need to mow the field once or twice before fire season starts. :?
