Hi Everyone,
I may have to finish this much later because we are having an impromptu screening for the "film society" tonight: "The Pianist" ( Netflix dvd). Rusty has whacky numbers today. I tested twice at PMPS and got 200 and 221 (so took the 200!) Perhaps the 88 at +9 was the whacky number. In any event, I think we can attribute the day to a delayed trip bounce. Whatever, he looks great, he is eating well, he enjoyed some outdoor time in wonderful late-afternoon sunshine when we got home from the paddle.

We had every type of weather in the book (except snow) on our paddle. We started in mist, then drizzle, then high winds, then clouds, then some sunshine, and bugs throughout. A real Adirondack day. There were 16 of us, all in solo canoes except for 1 tandem. It was lots of fun.

bbl, This weekend I hope to be around more on the board (after the farmers' market, the landfill, other shopping, mowing the lawn, and, hopefully, a short bike ride. Sunday is supposed to be rain, so tomorrow is the day for everything to get done.

Wishing all a great weekend. TGIF!

Quite the paddling adventure :)

I wonder if Rusty is getting a bit lazy on his lagoon meistering because he's got all his deputies helping out ;) sounds like he's enjoying his holiday from his duties though, sunbathing is a top holiday activity!

No bouncing Rusty - the trampoline is too crowded today.

I don't mind all the weather you got on the paddle, the bugs I could do without. I'm glad you had fun today and so did he, outside.

I hope Rusty comes back down soon. It's nice to hear he's doing well. I'm glad you enjoyed your paddle. Enjoy the film.

Sounds like you had a lovely time paddling (except for the bugs). And a bike ride sounds great this weekend...enjoy! Glad to hear Rusty is doing well, I`m sure he`ll be back down before too long.

Sorry for the wonky numbers, but as always, Rusty always seems to be right back where he ought to be and feeling good. Sounds like fun on your paddle today. Hope you have a great evening, Ella!!

I'm sure the 88 is right....China likes to do that occasionally too....she went up 40 points in 20 minutes one night (and she hadn't had any HC food either!)

Cat just like to do us like that....LOL

Come on now Rusty...Vacation time is over...time for you to get back to work!

Cinco enjoyed his brief visit with Rusty in the lagoon today. They were exchanging info on how all the kitties were doing. I guess it went well, since they both went back on shore.

Enjoy your film tonight. I hope you have better weather (and fewer bugs) for your next paddle.

"The Pianist" is a gripping, harrowing World War II movie set in the Warsaw ghetto. "Enjoy" is not the right word when one experiences this film. It is incredibly moving, despite all it's horrors.

Rusty sat on the couch and ate his dinner while the rest of us were engrossed in the film. We are exhausted!!
