Yehaw!!!

I gave Oliver his Prednisolone yesterday at 4 PM and he did have his expected overnight spike, although it doesn't seem to have been as bad as I expected. (High reading was 124 but it was probably higher than that in the early morning hours.) And now he is back in the green!

I have a call in to my vet to discuss discontinuing the pred or, maybe, switching to a different, shorter acting insulin. :mrgreen:

I wish Oliver's numbers were a little lower, but I'm happy with these - especially since he got prednisolone yesterday.

everything under 120 is considered normal, linda, so he's looking mighty good! 124 isn't bad at all.

Is his IBD seeming ok today? so the reduced pred dose is being effective?

So far, he seems fine on the lower Prednisolone dose. I suspect he peaked higher than 124 during the night, but I am relieved that it came back down by AMBG.
