6/19 Kasha AMPS 474 BOUNCE! PMPS 153, 51 @ +4.3

Hmmm... And my vet doesn't believe they bounce unless they go down to the 20s or so... Kasha apparently thinks otherwise.

I shot 1 unit (old dose) to get thru the bounce. We'll start the new dose (.75) tonight unless she's super high or something.

She ate most of bf #1. Blue, of course, is already on his second meal of the morning (at 6:40 am).

At least with these numbers, I can probably head out to the farm market this morning without having to worry about Kasha dropping too low.

I have a great Farmer's Market close to where I live, too! LOVE IT! :mrgreen:

And my vet believes the same thing. Though after our recent struggles, I *think* he may be leaning toward the belief the cat does not HAVE to go that low...maybe fast drops can cause it. :roll:

Yes! Farmers' Market!! We're headed there, too. The garlic scapes are in season.
Stu's bouncing today, too (but I don't know from what). Kasha's bounce, however, is the winner! Have a great day.

Hope Kasha will come out of the imaginary bounce soon...sigh...vets just have no real clue sometimes....hope you enjoy your shopping!
It's great to go out without the worry so enjoy the higher numbers (but don't trust them too much!) ;-)
It's all relative, isn't it? I ran out for Shadow's Pepcid and some test strips yesterday when he went to a high of 47 !!!
We are all crazy, no? :lol:

I believe that when I talk about this stuff with people outside FDMB, that's the general consensus!

Well. Apparently Kasha is getting ready for the July 4th (Independence Day) holiday with her red and then blue theme today.

37th Baytril in skinny pill pocket with chicken dust.

She didn't eat that well for dinner - I haven't totaled the amounts, but less than 2 Tbsp FF. However - she ate every bit of her food that was left out while I was gone, so overall, she's eaten well. Tonight I gave the new dose, .75 u (or as close as I could measure).

Blue is busy grooming his E collar. He is trying to groom himself, but all he gets is collar so he just grooms that.

I was at my parents' house today and showed my mom some of the OTJ kitty videos that make me so emotional. She also got emotional about them. It's a strange feeling of being so happy for those kitties that I just get overcome with emotion. Those videos just rock! I love 'em.

My BF says that this is my Facebook, since I've resisted joining FB so far (because there are just far too many people I do NOT want to get back in touch with!). But, I must say, I'm wavering on that. My brother found pics of my horse, Tigger, as a baby at the camp where he was born and I'd really like to touch base with those people who knew him then. I met Tig on his 1st birthday and we've pretty much been together ever since (he turns 29 on July 11th). Poor horse - he's very lame right now - I got him some joint supplement, gave him an anti-inflammatory dose and rubbed his legs and shoulders with liniment. He's very lame on the concrete, so it's hard to lead him out of his stall cuz it's a long concrete aisle till we get to a dirt arena. He was much less sore on the dirt. But I hate seeing him hurting - he's so good-natured about everything too.

As for me: I just polished off a strawberry rhubarb pie that was so very yummy. That's my treat for the weekend...

I almost forgot - I was at the tack shop talking to an employee about joint supplements and she told me she has a diabetic horse! Imagine that.

Kasha cleared that bounce quickly. Gotta wonder what tonight's cycle is going to look like, Remember, you're still working off of a little extra in Kasha's shed.

Paging down your SS is a very nice reflection of all of the hard work you and Kasha have done! I hope Blue is doing well.

Good evening, Krys and Kasha! I'm glad to see that Kasha has cleared that bounce and has earned herself a dose crease! Guess congrats are in order, huh!
Hope you had a good time at the farmers market. I work in a place called the "strip district", where there are all these fruit and veggie stands and small stores and I just love walking down there on my lunch break. I haven't done it for about a year since my lunch breaks are now spent at my desk doing work...how I miss it! Oh well, enough of me....have a great evening you guys...hope the dose crease works!

The farmers market was good - there's another one I hope to check out tomorrow morning - closer to my house (within a couple of miles). There's a guy usually there who sells hot sauces and I want to pick up something for my dad for Father's Day... He's not big on gifts, but he really likes spicy food. A guy at work had me try this hot sauce last week and it was a little scary hot (made with something called a "ghost pepper" because once you eat it, you give up the ghost - LOL), but I thought my dad would really like it - provided he actually follows directions and only starts with a drop (it's really hot).

Kasha's been clearing bounces pretty quickly - knock on wood. So - how long till I've worked off that extra in her shed? By the next dose will it be settled or does it take a couple doses? Just wondering when I'm REALLY shooting .75 and not getting a boost from the shed...

I just went to check on Blue and he was in the litter box - he spun around in a little pirouette and hopped out for attention. He's getting pretty good with both that one leg thing and the e collar. He's out hopping around right now, I'm keeping an eye on him...
 
Oh boy - er - girl, I mean. She's down to 51 at +4.3... I gave her a 10% carb treat (FF Elegant Medleys). She's not interested in her LC food that's out - wait - after she ate a spoonful of the 10%, she's over at the LC eating now... 45 @ +4.7... more snacks.
