6/19 Alska AMPS=311 PMPS = 255

I shot a 1.25u last night because he was below 300. This morning he got his usual skinny 1.50u

He is very active at night now. I guess when it turns cold again, Alska will return to his sleeping spot on the bed but for now, there's a whole house and yard to explore while boy civvies are sleeping. He has more energy on Levemir, I have noticed.

Now you see why I'm biased about Levemir...lol. Both Autumn and Musette were totally different cats once I made the switch. Just so much happier, more alert and curious.

YES! YES! That's it - happier, alert and curious!!!

Along with more feistier, mischievous, confident, demanding, awake, indignant... love it! All he did on Lantus was sleep and grumble.

I hear ya!! Autumn is old but on Lantus she acted mean and ancient. On Levemir she's still full of tortietude but there is a spring in her step and she interacts with us and the rest of the Fur Gang. Musette was clearly miserable on Lantus she did nothing but sleep and grumble once we switched she started to play again. Don't think Autumn will ever play again but not for lack of energy but because she's a retired barn cat...toys are beneath her lol. However let a live mouse present itself and she is on it like white on rice.

When we first moved the cats to the new house on of the boxes from the garage had a mouse in it and Autumn took it out in a flash while everyone else just stood there wondering what mom was shrieking about. Her kills to date since the move.
1 mouse, 7 moths, 1 sparrow, & numerous june bugs. But show her a laser pointer, jingle ball or feather wand and I get the kitty version of the eye roll. Heehee
