6/18 Zener PMPS 316;+3 286 gabapentin question

Yesterday

Ugh, more of THAT color! grr_red grr_red Appy is happy (thanks partly to cypro) and yard patrol completed. He's on the filing cabinet having 2nd breffis.

Does anyone else use compounded gabapentin? Zener gags on it and he only gets 0.2 ml. We've tried the fish flavor and the liver flavor. Any suggestions?

OT: Anne made it to Germany just fine and went directly to a meeting! She's tough. She said the flight from Flagstaff wasn't too bad. They did cancel one of the later flights, I assume because of the wind. We had gusts of 60 mph. :shock: :shock: Mercifully, the winds are calm this morning and will be a bit better in the next few days.

Thinking of ailing kitties and beans. Paws crossed for OTJ trials for Boomer and Pixie. Happy Wednesday, LL!

Oh Z-man, you seem to be sporting Spanish colours (red, yellow). How about trying for Chilean ones (add blue), they are winning the game right now.

I'm not using compounded gabapentin yet as I'm still trying to experiment to see if it's worth continuing, but if I do, vetty recommended getting in compounded. So far pill pockets seem to be doing the job for me. Have you asked if they do chicken flavor? Neko loves her chicken bupe.

Anne is tough - hope she's got access to good .

punkin had compounded gabapentin, but it was in capsules, so i'm not sure that's helpful. i didn't think it helped him - but nothing really seemed helpful except maybe the bupe. we ended up sticking with it.

Yay for yellow! Our vet said we could get the powdered form of gabapentin and put it in his food or mix with water and syringe. Hopefully we can get that tomorrow.
