Bounce breaking yesterday

It's been a challenging morning. I did not expect a 45, that's for sure. :shock: :shock: I gave Zener his ondansetron in a pill pocket and some chicken florentine. An hour later, he was 87 so I gave a shaved dose, 0.75u. He was a little reluctant to eat but did eat some more. Then at +1, he wouldn't even sniff at pill pocket with fortiflora, which he usually gobbles down. I did a tummy massage and he must have been having cramps because he growled at me. :shock: But a few minutes later, he at the pill pocket with zobaline and 1/16 of a pill of cypro for appy stimulant. I hope that wasn't too much but I didn't want to worry about getting him to eat with these low numbers. So right now I'm going to fix a cup of tea. No ironing here. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Wow Zener! 45?!?! You gotta stay up a little tiny bit higher then that and surf safely! He must want a reducie :-D

:shock: on your morning! Challenging indeed, and I hope you didn't have anywhere to be, at least for a bit this morning. Looks like Zener is on a mission, and ready to take his beans for a ride. ;-) Sure are nice Numbers though. GOOOOOOOOOOOOO Z-Man! I would've done the same with the appy stim. Nothing more freaky than low falling numbers and a kitty that won't eat. So,.... Zener, dude: EAT UP!

Morning Liz, Wow on Zener's 45!! If I am out of ironing, my next chore is wiping down kitchen cabinets :lol: anything that keep me close to Cleo and not barfing :shock: :shock:

Hope he keeps eating when he needs to!

Hi Liz. Nice green surf for Zener this morning but he could have stopped the drop before he entered the 40s. Good luck with the shaved dose.

Wow, what a day! I'm always amazed at folks who can stall their cat's feeding in the morning. Well at your house, you could keep Zener guessing where it is. Hmm, outside for picnic, in the bed with mama Anne..keep looking Zener. :lol:
Okay, I know that's not how it goes, but the point is...I so rarely have to stall, and Checks is screaming at me the whole time.

This day is going beautifully.....I hope he's been eating during the day, Liz :smile:

Hi, Liz, I saw when you posted that 45 at +11.5 this morning ~ I almost didn't need coffee after that adrenaline! :shock:

Thanks all for visiting Zener today and encouraging him to stay on the surfboard in the green lagoon. It's been a crazy day and best of all, he's been eating! It was a long night last night and a surprising morning. We shall see how things go with the shaved dose. It's always a surprise with the mighty Z! :twisted:

Cousins of mine are visiting from Texas to do all the things Arizona in this part of the state - Grand Canyon and so on, so we're a little busier than usual, but mostly just giving instructions and not being tour guides. They will be here for dinner soon, so we'll see how the kitties handle visitors of a younger variety. :cool:

Great day for Zener but it looks like he might be giving a pass on extra testing tonight. Have fun with the cousins. Hope the kitties come out from under the bed.

Glad Zener listened to all the good advice about surfing and nice to see he's behaving tonight while you've got guests. Hope you all have a wonderful night with friends and hope the kitties tolerate all the commotion!!!

Zener was the star of the show tonight. He was great with the cousins and let them pet him and even gave out an infamous Zener bump! (where he tries to rub around your legs but mostly just does a head butt). He also demonstrated his superb hunting skills by catching two, yes two, bugs. And he jumped up on his test/feed footstool for his +2 test with an audience no less. The Queen of Everything came out for a short appearance at the end of the evening. Cousins will be in town for a week and we are providing shower, laundry and dinner services while they are camping out in the forest a few miles from our house.

@Wendy & Neko - Zener never did hide from the cousins :shock: , and TT made a royal appearance at the end of the evening. :o We suspect she will come out more as she gets used to them.

@Deborah & Shasta - Z does his best to follow instructions from his LL family. He was on his extra special best behavior tonight. He loved us sitting outside for dinner and just hanging out. He enjoyed having guests and was an excellent host. cat_pet_icon
