A very nice start for Trix...fortunately, no bounce from yesterday's craziness. Hopefully she'll set up her surf shortly. Fortunately, the beans were able to sleep last night, although I think it's going to take a couple days to catch up from Sunday night!

The alarm company at my store thinks it was a mouse that set off the motion detector! We had a mouse earlier in the year, which we caught with a Have-A-Heart trap and then set free in the field. But, there is a large gap under our doors, so we may have a crowd that is coming and going. DH tried to fix the gap, but since he's not a licensed contractor and this is commercial property, he's pretty limited in what he can do, so we may have to take greater, more costly measures. In the meantime, we'll set up a few more Have-A-Hearts.

The other excitement I missed since I was off yesterday was that the septic system backed up, and now the internet router isn't working :shock: ...I spent lots of time on the phone and e-mailing, so it wasn't much of a day off. I get another day off tomorrow, though...

Morning Amy very nice again for Trixie! I bet she surfs in the greens soon. Wow what a day off for you with the septic system and your internet router. Glad they determined the source of the alarm going off the other night. Hope the little mousie takes the bait and then released. Hope all goes well today at work.

ETA...the septic and the internet issues were also at the store, not at my house (when it rains, it pours!)...but that didn't mean I was left out of the process of finding solutions! The internet still isn't working, and I'm the tech person, so guess what I'm doing as soon as I get to work...

ohmygod_smile Yikes, all those problems at the store and crud that they all came up when you're supposed to have a nice relaxing day off. At least you can keep on top of the IT person and make sure the internet is up and running. :smile: A mouse??? Such a tiny little guy got so many people running around. At least you know that your system won't let ANYTHING mess with your store. I hope your next day off is really a day off.

Nice and simple so far today.

Internet is still not working at the store...DH is much stronger in knowledge than I am, so we have to head back over there when he gets home from his work. Argh.

That's the price of being a business owner....can't count on a day off. :-D
