Day 3 @ 2.75. I ran out of wet food yesterday so fed him Dr Elsey's dry chicken which he enjoys. Last night when I got home from work he was 488. Haven't seen a red since 6/5. Reds and pinks for today. Not sure if this is because of the Dr Elsey's dry, bouncing from the blues, NDW or he is in some pain with the way he is walking.

Also noticed he is walking very stiff. He has been showing signs of early stage neuropathy for a bit. Will still jump to testing chair but less often then he did, and it kind of reminds me of a spring loaded toy in that he does a couple little pre jump movements before he lunges, not a smooth jump like the 5 year old. He has been laying down at water dish to drink.

I'm concerned over his food placement now. It's on the back porch behind a gate to keep the 2 little dogs out of it. That's where the litterbox is as well. He has not had an accident outside of the box yet, but now I'm starting to worry about him jumping the gate or his inability to jump the gate. I need to figure out a way for him to get to his food easily and still be able to keep the 2 dogs out of it.

I need a day off.

He could also be bouncing from the low blues the PM of the 15th. Hope that means the bounce is almost over.

Are the little dogs smaller or bigger than him? Just wondering if a rights sized door would help.

The chuwennie is heavier but short legged long body, can't jump back issues, the shih tzu is smaller and older can't see. So yeah never thought of that, that would work. I tried setting him up with bed food everything he would need but he would rather be in main part of house with everyone instead of in isolation which I totally get.

Thank you I knew someone on here would have a viable solution.

Patty, are you giving Zobaline to Teal'c for neuropathy? Before I found the FDMB where I heard about it, Leo could hardly walk or lift his head. It's by Life Link, available on Amazon. The Zobaline, along with becoming more regulated was a life saver for us. :)

Was giving it to him wasn't sure if it was doing any good cause of being unregulated will start again he takes it well. Since him and Shefoo share the same bowls I didnt put in food just gave him the pill.
