Happy Papabeans' Day to all you Papabeans out there!
Now that we decided to stay home because of threatening weather instead of going to camp, we have had two nice, sunny days!! But now the storms are approaching for real. The Monday paddle has been moved to Thursday by the leader. The whole of next week is supposed to be stormy, so I hope that the weatherman is wrong for Thursday.
Rusty is eating pretty well and his breathing is improved from a few weeks ago. He is enjoying lots of outdoor time. This morning he chased Leyla out of "his" yard.
Yesterday afternoon Edward and I scouted out the paddle we are going to lead a week from Monday. It took much longer than we had anticipated because the carries (portages) were in bad shape. We barely got home in time for PMPS, and we were covered in mud. Rusty was waiting for us by the back door.
