Pardon my absence from the board for the previous week

Today
Overall back to normal at Tortieland. Tiger's sensitive tummy kinda under control, sometimes still have the soft stool but it's not watery anymore. He's more active & started his big brother attitude of bullying around :? The terrible URI outbreak affecting all 10 cats is settled, thank you for all the get well vines! After DaiTou's operation on anual gland infection, her sister Copy who had the same op half yr ago got a swollen & red anual gland again. Vet said could be her licking ... Again gave AB cream & antibiotics for a week.
Rosy is doing well with her sugar dancing though still drawing her self invented Lantus curve. She's still bouncing & gathered from her bg reaction to food, guess her pancrea never worked. But I am happy to have her putting on weight & doing green  every other day. Thanks to the board. If not for all your help & guidance, Rosy would have gone 18 mths ago when we were helpless with her enormous craving for food & water while getting more & more skinny. Vet was not able to help.
This PM I'll be giving her a reducie because of her low green yesterday.
A lot of misfortune happened this past week on a few of my friend's cats. Several sudden death because of cancer...
Treasure what we have in our hand is the most important. Stop worrying & hug our loved ones.

AMPS 344 gave Wiskas & NV & 1.65u

Helen, I am so glad to hear things are getting back to normal in Tortieland. That must take a toll on you looking after so many sick kitties. And then hearing the sad news about your friends cats too. It is indeed time to hug our own cats - just did that to mine after reading your post.

I can so sympathize on the bouncing. Got one of those here too. Neko can't seem to go a day without a bounce. Just wish our girls would say good bye to the purple floor. Good to hear that Rosy is putting on weight and seeing green most days. Overall, she is much healthier than 18 months ago. As ever, we keep our paws crossed that the reducie will hold.

That's a tiny doseshave you're doing. Good luck with the reducie.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend's loss :(

You're right, we need to treasure what we have. I'm glad Rosy is gaining weight and your kitties are all in good hands. It's good to see you back.

Hi Helen,
We missed you! We are glad to hear that the URI is under control and that all your kitties are on the road to recovery. So sorry to hear about your friend's kitties. You are so right that we must treasure the moment.
Good luck with the reducie.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

p.s. I saw a picture of the Dragon Boats last week and thought of you. It must be a spectacular regatta.

Thanks for the visit Wendy. Wish Neko can hold better with those green too! Hate to see the bounce to purple like we're having today. Reducie hold or not is no longer bugging me since I am happy to see Rosy with those green already  . Going up & down the caliper ladder is already a norm.!
