Here we go again. Ravan's BG is going up! He did this back in January. He was on .25 units & went up till he was over 400!

I'm sure I'll be increasing his dose.

Does anyone know if I can buy Amlodipine (BP) meds & Ringers Lactate without a Prescription?
Maybe in Canada?

Joy, I just called Leo's vet and she said you need a prescription for BP meds in Canada.

Why not ask here and on the Main Forum if anyone has a prescription? Maybe you could work something out with them.

Definitely a prescription is needed in Canada, but Sonia's idea is good; maybe someone on the forum having one could help!!

Yes, Alice went absolutely crazy! She was screaming & struggling so bad we decided to let her be. I felt the extreme stress would make her even sicker! The vet agreed with me. But because she did not examine her the vet would not give me a prescription for BP meds or for Ringers Lactate.
I still had to pay her for the visit I don't know what to do . I did post for Help on the health forum.

Lactate ringers can be purchased without a prescription in Canada, but not the meds. But it’ll be pretty heavy so high shipping cost.
