Not a good day today. :sad:
I was supposed to pick up my daughter from a kidney shockwave therapy procedure, but her dad took care of that, so I ended up taking the morning off anyway.
After his AMPS, he was coughing again, so he got 1 puff steroid, 1 puff albuterol. Got the +2, and it went downhill from there.
I finally got the news that procedure went fine, and her dad was about to take her home (she lives off campus about an hour from me). As I was about to do a +5, his coughing starting again and got pretty severe. Took about 4 albuterol puffs to get enough in him to loosen him up. I came very close to taking him to vet, but he did start to ease up.
I had to go into work this afternoon, but he was fine and eating when I left...finishing more breakfast.
Because I went in late, I got home late, so his PMPS might be influenced with food and asthma meds.
This dose is obviously not enough, so I will have to increase again starting at Friday's PMPS, up to 1.25.
I'm feeling worn between the stress of Poe's health and my daughters, although the procedure she got should take care of any kidney stones she had.
So, next post is the PMPS as I just don't have the heart to do a AMPS +11 as honestly based on the past 4 or so days, it has stayed pretty much the same. It actually might be higher because of the food/meds.
