We are certain the drop went in this time, as we pushed the plunger tightly down into the syringe under the skin and left it pushed in the syringe while removing the syringe from the skin. Nothing at all was left in the syringe this time.

I wonder if that last number was influenced by a neighbor cat appearing outside Merlin’s enclosure to torment him. Very exciting.

Starting to drop a little faster now, though still high. It’s +4 snack time. He has dropped 50 in an hour. Im giving him 1.4 again.

It’s either that or the dose isn’t enough. Time will tell, though, wont it. Im happy to stay with the drop for a while. How long do you think we should give it, Bron?

You need to give it at least 6 cycles to make sure it isn’t a bounce, which I think it most likely is. If it is still up high after that you can go back to 0.1

It’s really hard to tell, but it seems like he’s pretty quick at getting back to the drops. I have tried to find consistencies, but just when I think he’s settling, he does something weird again. Im not even sure when the bounces are. Sometimes its like a “normal” cycle, but on a higher BG level.

Did you ever do the experiment to count the number of drops in your 0.1 unit dose? Seems odd he'd bounce this much for a 47 when he didn't bounce for a 50 the day before.

Yes. There were 2 drops in our .1 and 1 drop in the drop dose.
