What difference a day makes... APPY is back, fuds are being inhaled, and we have had 8 cycles of continuing steady blues. Until last night when he decided that the bungee cords had been packed away too long and took them out for a spin. :lol: :lol: :shock: I loved seeing the green - but sure wish he'd ease into them, the greens that is. Then I remembered - this is Mannie: never a dull moment, and the FDMB Olympic Diving Champion.... I am SO GLAD that he decided to do this last night, and not the night before when his appy was iffy. Sure is good to have him eating! One cannot have the president and CEO of the CPC not eating... :lol: :lol: LUBS YA big guy! Keep up the good work!! cat_pet_icon


All is well in MannieLand, once again. :-D :-D We had a father's day breffis here at the house yesterday morning. it was nice to see them, and Nicholas for a extra day this week. Mannie was glad his buddy was back. He got an extra day of Nanner delivery! :cool: :cool: We had some good weather today - a little cloudy but arm enough that we could open the house. Mannie was back to camping out in one of the big planter boxes. The plants in it are tall, somewhat bushy, and one can easily miss seeing him if you don't know he's there. He must think he's fund the bestest secret hiding place... He can see all,and no one can see him. :lol: :lol: I was elated to see that no nanners had made the planter.... yet.... Today, once again, we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and again at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept.... Normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

Have a great day everyone! Nothing planned her today... weird, huh. Hopefully I will get down to the shore today. A nice woods hike there - YAY!

Hey everybody!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!! Rusty in NYC, and on his way to Camp Stu: yes: then we can fish and swim and canoe, AND (!!!) an OTJ party for Simon. I am SO EXCITED!!! We gets to go to Texas, and you know what that means! BBQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So grab your aprons and hats and ladles ad spatulas - we gots some serious grillin' to do! And kitties - we love to have kitchen krew members: lots of kitties on the krew - anyone can help - see you there ~ Chef Mannie

Yesterday sounds like so much fun. It is great that your kids are all close and can all come over for special things like that. Too funny on Mannie and the planter. Tarragon likes to pretend he is a jungle cat and hide behind plants, curtains, etc. He thinks we can't see him, but his big bushy tail is sticking out. :lol:

Hi Melissa - thank for the ~O) ~O) It is needed! :lol: :lol: I really do so hope he just surf s the blues - so far so good. It is nice to see the +2 up just a little. He may just do that then. Paws crossed. THX: yesterday was fun, and I am grateful that all are within an easy driving distance. I so agree on the planter thing and Mannie - way too funny. He tries sometimes too to hide behind things - but he is such a big kitty that well... we always can see him. :lol: :lol: Thanks on today - errands I think, maybe some cleaning. maybe :lol: :lol: on the cleaning....

Hi Serryn - oh yes on the nothing to do today - rest would be god. There are a few errands but nothing major. YAY!

Hi Barb - oh yes - quite the evening. :shock: :shock: @-) @-) I did OK though - stayed up late, only got up twice after that. not too bad..... :? I wonder how Anne and Liz did - Zener was at it too last night. YUPP: I so hope just for a nice blue surf... I wish I was a napper - never been able to do it. I just wake up feeling worse than I did before i tried. I might have to test that theory again today. :-D

Michelle, it was great watching the party in action last night. Mannie was amazing with such good numbers, and now it looks like he has given you a permission slip for a small nap. Good to see Mannie still has his appetite this morning after all the nummy fuds last night.

Hi Wendy - Yupp - it sure was one heckuva party! Seemed we had come players too! And yes he has - I will go for a short walk, then veg for a few before PM cycle starts. I suspect we will stay high for tonight - which is good: early to bed for me then. YAY!!! and me too on the appy thing - especially after all he ate last night and his not wanting to eat the day before. PHEW!

Hi Liz - I must say we did have a god one last night didn't we. Mannie tried so hard to continue to through the night - came darn close too! :shock: LOL on my paying attenuation - oh by, that I was. He started out great today, but I knew he'd bounce - he always does when he gets the 40/50/60 numbers. I hope Zener did well today too - I nee to check....

Quiet an evening you had. Now Mannie, while your mamabean would greatly like and appreciate a nap after last night--there's less dramatic ways of making that happen. Take it a little easy, ok?!

Oh..also, Munch loves to help out in the kitchen. She's great at taste testing, but she's not so bad with a whisk either!

Hi Michelle, I sure missed the party last night with all the greens. It looked like he really wanted that dosecrease and he sure got his gravy. Looks like you were busy during the day, too. That sounds like such a great time yesterday, especially having Chef son make the eggs benedict breffifs. Hope you made that shore walk.

Mannie, hope I'm not too late for Camp Stu and Texas. I found my apron and silverware and am all ready to help with the cooking. I'll be at the curb, Mags

Hi Ann - Last night was crazy - he so wanted to stay in the 50's - didn't hit the 40's or the 30's, so no dosecrease - but he was sure trying. And yes he did - I went through so much of that last night just trying to keep him in the 50's. CRAZY! And thanks on yesterday - it was really a good time. YUPP!: went to the shore - nice and quiet down there today. perfect!

Hi munch's bean! - Oh yes - it was quite the evening... wow! I so agree on the taking it easy - I keep telling him he doesn't have to rush into everything. :lol: Awesome on Munch helping out on the kitchen - WO HOO! Mannie will be very ahppy - he likes the taste testing himself too.

Maggie - nope - not too late!! I will come and gets you -we is still at camp Stu, so lots of fun yet. Soon we are off to Texas - WOO HOO!
