I sure hope Blackie's numbers come down today. I thought I didn't like the pinks, but I really don't like the reds! :-x

WCR: Blackie still seems to feel okay, eating well and going outside. He did drink even more water than usual this am. He was hanging out by the water bowl for more than a half hour.

Are you able to test for ketones...
this is a new pen too...
I guess the water drinking is to be expected with these numbers....
You say he is acting ok so it doesn't seem to be an infection brewing or anything....
I hope Blackie will come down today finally...this is just sooooo not nice.... :-|

I think red and black are my worst hated colors ... I hope blackie comes down for you today ...
 
Blackie is a hungry kitty tonight. You'd think he was cliff diving. :mrgreen: But he is dropping - in the yellow now. I am so glad to see him come down. :-D

Ele, my puter is stupid slow tonight so I am not even going to dare opening ss's. It sounds like you have done a dose increase AND started a new pen/cartridge. Cosidering kidney issues, coupled with the diabetes, do you think a uti might be in play? Guess, see how things go the next day or so. Something to consider.

Sorry if Im suggesting something w/o full knowledge of whats going on via ss.
