Yesterday. Caber Yr 2 Day 256

Well she popped a pickle last night so I guess that's good.

Husband such a newbie at devices. Teaching him how to register for his prescription with new company. He tried calling to refill and it kept kicking him out (because he never registered). I say do it on line and choose auto refill. "I don't know how"

I am not doing it for him anymore, not using my email for him anymore. He has to start doing stuff by computer. Once you get set up, it's easier, just got to get through initial set up.

Yes, that first hurdle is the hardest...once he gets an email address...and starts to register for things...we can only hope it'll get easier. He'll just have to remember to check his email in-basket. Sometimes newbies don't remember to do that...it's a look of wonderment when they realize it's a great way for communicating!

Congrats on the pickle last night!!

Have a great day Paula!

Ok it seems it takes 8 days after reducie and a few pinkies for her to pickle. Geez she certainly not versed in the rules is she.

Spent all morning clearing out the rocky slope. Still have a ways to go. Need to figure out how to edge/border the bottom of slope where it meets the grass. Still have to cover it all with wood chips to hold dirt in place.

It goes back a few years. One day I was making pickles and she was right at my feet, I think it was Wendy said maybe the smell of brine will bring some green numbers. I said oooh a pickled Ollie, and she did reach a green number that day. So pickles stuck when she gives us some green numbers.
I LOVE it! and I love making pickles with cucs from my garden too!

Light bulb moment !!!!

I was able to get a really good look at Trippers ears and neck. They are looking good, looks like fur is growing in one side of neck, not sure on other side yet.

Anyway was telling my husband and got one of the last cans of ff beef to feed to Tux, and husband says Trips favorite. I'm like no ff for her, I still believe she's allergic to it. The light bulb goes on. Husband use to give her a lot of Dr Elseys Clean Protein Dry food. He would leave a bowl full in basement for her. I only gave 1/8 cup at night to carry her through. I look at the bag I still got and bingo. 2nd ingredient is pork. She has a low sensitivity to pork. Trip hasn't had either food for 6 months now and is looking good.
