After lovely green in yesterday's cycles, Zener is starting off with blue and going down in a calm fashion. :-D We are grateful for that as we been working pretty hard the past couple of days with getting him to eat, paws crossed his appy picks back up soon. It stresses the poor beans out. :YMSIGH: Liz sent a message to our animal communicator to see if Zener has any complaints or things to tell us about how he is feeling.

Poo patrol was very diligent this morning. Inspector Poo spotted a synchronized pooing demonstration from both Zener and Tillie, those birding binoculars are amazing! Upon closer inspection, Chief Inspector Crapdash pronounced both as "very healthy". :lol:

Liz is slowly on the mend and has progressed from "wiped" to "plain ole tired". A little solid food is back on her menu. She was up working at her computer a little this morning, so that's progress! Now she is back on the bed, resting with Zener. It's a very warm day here, so napping will be the order of the day. :razz:

What a nice cycle for Zener today. Neat with the AC and that you can E-mail her with questions. Keep us updated. Glad to hear you're feeling better, Liz. The food poisoning has to be the worst! I got sick from an airport sandwich, too, last trip home but not as severe as you. Are you still on the antibiotics. Sending some vines to feel better.

Sending healing vines to Liz and glad to hear she is feeling a little better.

Not a bad day for Zener! And my day would not be complete without reading about the poo patrol. :lol: :lol:
Hope his appy gets better. I am really interested in what the AC has to say.

Not gonna say where my mind went before I finished this sentence, after yesterday's (or was it Friday's??) report on Liz's progress :lol: ! (Sorry Liz...Anne started it!!)

A very nice day for Zener today!! Just eat a wee bit more for the beans, OK?

This condo is getting back to "normal". yay! Now, Liz, you hurry and get back to normal, too!

Another Zener slide into a late :mrgreen: nadir. It's not nearly as nerve wracking to shoot this low number tonight as it was last night because, for the moment, his appy is improved. {{{anti-jinx}}}

@ Amy - oops, guess I should have added who the performers were in the synchronized event! :oops: And yes, I (Anne) started it. :cool: The big guy ate much better at PM shot time tonight, whew. Liz says Imodium is much better than Fortiflora or pumpkin, it's like magic! :lol:

@Ella - us, normal? :lol: :lol: :lol: Liz is definitely improving and has been able to do much more today. Back to the doc mid-day for hopefully a good report. :thumbup

@Sienne - we love seeing the big guy in blues and greens! And thanks, Liz is definitely on the mend. :-D

Will test regularly to see what happens with this low PMPS. Last night, despite his appy issues, he surfed green for the first half of the cycle without "you know what" happening. Paws crossed we get a repeat performance!

I went outside to get Zener for a +2.5 test. He was sitting by the edge of our fence (ground zero for skunk entry), all puffed up and was NOT happy when I picked him up, there was much growling and hissing. We managed to settle him down long enough for a test, then off he went to the front room window, which we have fully open tonight because it is warm. Both Zener and Tillie were looking own with small growls. So, out I go in the front yard, in my PJs, with flashlight and rustle around but nothing to be seen - except for some neighbors out walking their dog at 9:30 at night. And there I am in my summer PJs with a flashlight wandering around under our living room windows. I'm sure it made for a more exciting evening dog walk. :shock:

@Wendy & Neko - could be one of the pre-party parties tonight. And now, my neighbors have seen me in my PJ party outfit. :roll: :oops: :lol:

And better be safe than sorry when it comes to skunks. When Neko was younger she got skunked! Mainly on her ruff so I got rid of most of it with a pair of scissors. But I can't imagine having to BG test a cat frequently if there was skunk residue on the fur. :roll: :lol:

@Wendy - we have lots of skunks around here but the kitties have never bothered them or vice versa...yet. Must have been stinky for poor Neko! They are such diggers and burrow under our fence. Over the course of one summer a few years ago, Liz trapped and released 11 from our yard. :o

Thought we might be on the way up at +3.5 but not so yet. So, back to watching bad tv and testing again in an hour. ~O)
