Let's just say that I am very glad that my cats are so tolerant of kittens! The three new girls are hilarious. So far, they are in a huge dog crate when I am not actively supervising. And they are not happy about it! Every time they woke up during the night, Iris started meowing loudly, wanting me to break her out of prison. I think I heard a huge sigh from Walter when he jumped off the bed and left the bedroom in protest. He needs his beauty sleep. ;)

This morning, they got some supervised playtime. Walter and Sparrow watched them from the very top of the cat tree while Mandarin and Capone tried their best to make friends. They are tiny (Flora weighs a whopping 17 ounces), but they make up for their lack in size with cattitude. The pictures probably speak for themselves... Mandarin just couldn't believe it. First they finish off his breakfast and then they act like they are big and tough. And all he wanted to do was to groom them a bit.

Walter's numbers are still high, but he managed to pull off a yellow start. And as much as I would like to stay home and play with the babies, I have to go to new student orientation today.

I just want to come to your house and play with all those babies! :cat::cat: Hopefully Walter will start coming down soon although considering he's not too shabby. Enjoy your day Christina and hurry home to play with all the critters after orientation;)

SOOOoooooo cute! Love that arched back up against Mandarin - big bad scary kitten! Hopefully they'll start letting Mandarin love on them soon. Have a great day!

I am loving this +4! Great work, Walt - so happy to see you heading back down into more normal numbers... and glad that I had enough time to run home over lunch.

adorable.... I remember when I brought Dre home and kept him in a crate and Rico stood guard ALL night to make sure he didn't escape!! LOL
I told Rico he better be nice because Dre would be much bigger than him... who knew it would be almost double the size!!
I love when they get Puffy!!

The little Siamese kit that I am fostering also LOVES to voice her opinion very loudly. I have a feeling that I might regret the idea that I put their crate into my bedroom.

Your Siamese foster is the spitting image of my first cat, and she also had that yowl! When I got her I was living in a tiny cabin, and she spent the first few nights yowling in annoyance at being taken away from her mamma and siblings. It was so loud that I finally went and slept in the kitchen, which was in a separate cabin, and let her have my cabin to herself. We sorted things out over the next week or so, and after we got along she very rarely yowled again, but I still vividly remember those first few nights!

Walter was looking good this morning. I hope he kept going down and leveled off somewhere safe.

Those babies are wayyyyy too cute!! Squeeeeeee!

I always swore that Cinco had Siamese in him somewhere, because he could yowl with the best of them! Usually at 2:30 in the morning and for no particular reason. I often wondered if that is why his previous so-called family made him an outdoor cat, and then moved off and left him. We just took it in stride.

Way too cute. Gizmo's breeder was telling me that one of their 3 mo old kittens (think under a few lbs since this is a big breed) had one the their biggest males (probably 25 lbs) cowering in a corner!! The kitten is a tortie and and has an overabundance of tortitude.
