6/17 Pixie OTJ Trial Day 4 AMBG=77 PMBG=108, +16=79

Good Morning ,

This is day 4 in our OTJ Trial and all is well so far. I was sure that we would be back on the juice this morning after last night's blue(178) but this morning's 77 was a nice surprise. Pixie's pancreas is producing insulin - good news. It's up and down with Pixie's appetite, some days he's eating over 400 calories but still not gaining weight. Pixie had a vet appointment last week and blood work. I wrote a lengthy update this morning but it timed out and I lost my work angry(2)_cat. So I guess I'll give brief updates here and there as finger typing on Ipad is time consuming.

Fabulous news Anee! Looks like Pixie had a hairball last night which caused his numbers to go up, but his pancreas is definitely working. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: We had one member who had to take her kitty on a road trip and got a red, but he was back to green next cycle.

GO Pixie!! Kitties (and beans) love the chance to party and dance. Happy day 4!

Wow. I've been out of it lately, busy with my own stuff, and I didn't realize you'd started your trial. Congratulations! Day 4 - that's wonderful! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for posting and letting us share in the excitement and joy of the countdown! It lifts everyone's spirits to have a celebration coming.

The wooties have been warming up for a party! There's nothing they love like a fun OTJ party with all the good foods! :mrgreen:

I'm so glad to see you started a trial with Pixie! I think last time I saw his condo, I think you were a little reluctant to start a trial after the 0.1u. Looks like he's doing great!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: It's so encouraging to see one of the LL family headed for the Falls!
