Yesterday http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewforum.php?f=9 started out very much the same as today, but stalled at the pink floor both during the day and evening. Today is a new day, a new dose and a little more action. I am hoping for lucky number 7, because we are now up to 7 units. Nice to have that big ole line to look at again on the syringe.

Neko and Theo are currently snoozing in the solarium on separate chairs. Neko imbibed in a little nip before her nap - hoping she'll see a little more green than that soon. As usual Neko maintained her CPC status, and was a little anxious for her +3 snack because of the dive leading up to it.

It's a gray day here, with promises of "mixed conditions". I think it's sunnier to the south of us. We live on the foothills of a mountain which means the clouds like to hang around the mountain tops and shade us a bit more.

I was expecting a worse number at PS, given how fast she can zoom up and the +9 number, and the hungry whimpers from the kitchen 1/2 hour before dinner. Overall, not bad for a cycle #1, almost blue, perhaps a blue toe dip. Actually 201 shows as blue on the World version of the spreadsheet!

We are trying a new protein for dinner, buffalo, which is 2.9% carb. It's a lean meat without bone. She had been straining a bit to poo so thought she might be getting a bit too much bone. Just before dinner she was very successful in the LB, so maybe the Restoralax I started is having an affect. I may switch the venison to buffalo in the rotation, they are the same price.

Bring it on down Neko, nice and slow and easy. Blue would look so good on you for Simon's OTJ party tomorrow!

+2 396 coming down, but slowly enough I think I can get a good rest tonight!

@Anne - it sometimes takes Neko a couple of days to settle into a new dose. Tomorrow will be cycle 3 and I hope that'll be enough to get some blue on for the party. Just can't go to a OTJ party wearing red or pink!

You are so right about the party duds! Paws crossed Neko settles in to the new dose and wears the nice party colors! Ni NI! I-)
 
Hope the Buffalo will bring "green" to Neko! I think you'll have a good sleep tonight Wendy.
